It sort of seems that way at first blush but in my eyes, I think $250 for another night in the hotel and great (trust me) Raw tickets is well worth it. Remember, the hotel they book you into is a place that is most likely going to be costing around at least $180 a night at the time you're staying in it; throw floor-level or the very first 100s section arena seating on top of that, and the inherent comfort of getting to stay in the same hotel and not have to move to some other place that night, and it's all well worth it to me. I've been to three straight Wrestlemanias and their subsequent Raw telecasts, and I can say that Raw the next night is an experience unto itself. Just naming three individual closing segments from those Raws, I've seen Shawn Michaels give his farewell address, The Rock and John Cena challenge one another to the match a year out and Brock Lesnar returning to F5 Cena. Anyway, just some perspective from me on it. (I should note that I didn't go the package route for Wrestlemania XXVI, booked separately for everything but nevertheless...)

And with it being outside again, I'd be cautious of whatever truss they have on the corners of the ring to hang up lighting. The damn palm trees from this year's completely fucked with people's view. I was in the 100 level seating (which aren't bad seats by any means), but I got a corner section (122) and was stuck staring at the fucking palm tree all night. I was looking at the jumbo tron all night thinking "you know, I could have had a much better view of this at home for a $9 stream" lmao.
That sucks. I'll always remember my experiencing buying tickets for Wrestlemania XXVI on Ticketmaster the morning they went on sale. I first nearly purchased tickets for the very corner section of the 200s, 222. I wanted to get just a tad closer to the ring, though, so I tried again and I landed on 220. I took them. At the event, months later, I was so happy that I had done this. If I had gone with 222, I would have been looking straight at the support truss for their anti-rain structure throughout the whole show. I would not have been pleased with that at all.

Can you imagine the Hall Of Fame being there? The HOF is emotional each an every year but being at MSG will be a whole different other level.
I agree. Regardless of what Jim Ross "understands" for next year, I'm hoping the Hall of Fame and Raw are both at Madison Square Garden next year. They truly ought to be. It is the Mecca of WWE. You're guaranteed an incredible crowd. And I personally would much rather stay in Manhattan somewhere rather than New Jersey. It would seem WWE would be setting itself up for scorn from its fans based on its ads for Wrestlemania being so New York City-centric should they have people stay in New Jersey with all of the events there. No offense to New Jersey but I'd love to experience NYC, the MOMA, Times Square, etceteras, etceteras. Also never been to Madison Square Garden and it would be kind of incongruous and mildly upsetting were they to hold all of these events right there with Madison Square Garden only a short drive away and not go into that wonderful and historic venue.

If I can get any 4-day package within $1550, I'll gladly take it. My flights are gonna cost me around $600 return. Also, anyone know how much a cab costs in NYC or Jersey? Assuming WWE doesn't provide a shuttle like this year to and from the stadiums and convention centers, I'll have to take a cab or public transit.

Definitely. The Hall of Fame JUST HAS TO BE in MSG. I can live with RAW being in the IZOD Center, but it would be incredulous to not have the prestigious Hall Of Fame in MSG.

Not sure about the cab costs, but these websites might help:

http://nyc.taxiwiz.com/?lang=en

http://www.taxifarefinder.com/

I used the latter for Miami-Ft. Lauderdale this year and it generally was about right, sometimes a tad off.

I was just thinking...

MetLife Stadium has the second largest seating capacity for any NFL stadium for a football game: 82,566. It should be very easy for WWE to hit the 80,000 fan mark at Wrestlemania XXIX. Considering the costs of tickets, the live gate total should probably outdo this year's.

If you're going to NY during the week/weekend(whether its for fun or WWE/other wrestling is taking place there) The train is probably a better bet than a taxi. I mean I don't live there nor have I been there, but I have friends that live there and they say traffic is terrible, train/subway is best way of getting around. Also its not me, but I know there is someone that goes by BreakTheWalls10 on Youtube that lives in the East Rutherford NJ area, and he made a "things to know for Mania 29 weekend" video in February" video. I'm new here so I'm not sure if I am allowed to link videos, so I won't, but just search "BreakTheWalls10" on Youtube and go to his channel, video should be MAYBE 10 down. Hope this helped all.

I want to go again but as always it's a money issue. They had better not put package prices up again though. Fuck them if they do and what's worse, fuck me for probably ending up buying from them lol.

I would take the Subway, but you see, I'm deathly afraid of rats. I've heard some horror stories about rats in the Subway, so I would rather avoid that. Would have no problem taking the bus though.

Plus, I found a Shuttle that'll get me from the airport to the hotel for $16 and vice versa. Definitely would take that over the Subway, and really hoping that WWE provides the shuttle from the Hotel to the stadiums if they're not walking distance. If they're a mile or two, wouldn't mind walking. New Yorkers walk everywhere anyway, so would love to be part of that

Anybody who's planning on going the package route - I advise you. The package is fine, alright, it's decent. It saves you time and effort of buying everything individually however - if coming from abroad you'll be wanting to spend more than 4 nights in the big apple, right? Alright so you only get 4 nights at max in the package and an extra night in the hotel that they put you up in will be $250+ PER NIGHT. Pricey.

I did the package this year and found this out the hard way. It took a lot of the stress of buying tickets seperately off the shoulders but I still ended up using 3 hotels throughout my stay. Granted, I took a trip up to Orlando as well but still.

This year, I'm looking at gathering a few people from here, from Facebook wherever that would be interested in renting a condo for 7/10 days. Some people on Facebook have already done this and it works out at about $200 a night which, between 4 people is $50 a night. A lot cheaper than a hotel and you have your own place for a week. If anybody is legitimately interested in doing this then don't hesitate to contact me on here or twitter @adecw etc. You will have to buy your tickets separately but I see this as a better way of doing things.

Anyway, if anyone has any questions about the packages then ask away.

So, I've got a couple of questions regarding the packages and everything. Me and two other family members are looking at the Silver package for four nights as of right now, it'll be our first WrestleMania so I just have a few questions about the packages and everything.

1. When is the info on the packages for WrestleMania 29 released?
2. Around what date will they be available for purchase?
3. How do you order them and is the process complicated?

Thanks to whoever can help out!
