He won't. You can quote me on that. It'll probably be Lesnar at 29 and Cena at 30. Then he'll retire.

A lot of people think Undertaker would retire at Wrestlemania 30 and while that seems plausible, if we are to believe that Austin is expected to wrestle at WM 30 which is the rumor going around and that he would only accept doing one last match in the main event, then I doubt Undertaker will choose to retire at WM 30. If Undertaker retires it's going to be in the main event at WM like Shawn Michaels and if Austin would only accept the main event then it won't be at WM 30. So I could see Cena vs. Undertaker being held off longer even though logic would say Undertaker would call it quits at the 30th anniversary at WM because they want Undertaker to be the focal point of the main event.

The streak in my view is such a strong part of Wrestlemania. You know each year that match will be rewarding

Re: Official Undertaker WM Streak Thread - No Other Threads
IMO the Cena one feels like it needs to happen. And I am not sure, if he should win.

Undertaker v Cena is a money making match. I feel at some point this match must and needs to happen. Wrestlemania 29 not a bad time for this

Honestly wouldn't mind it at all. Seems like the most unpredictable one to happen.

It would be a decent match. They have worked many good matches together in the past

Re: Official Undertaker WM Streak Thread - No Other Threads
I thought I read somewhere that Undertaker said in an interview that he will not be at WrestleMania XXIX? If that's true, then I'm very shocked. The Streak has become a huge part of 'Mania and I find it hard to believe that Taker would be left off of the card. Probably just some crap rumor, anyway, but I feel like I read that very recently.
Taker has got to be reaching the end of his career. I anticipate that we'll only see one or two more matches from him at WrestleMania. The obvious choice for XXIX is Brock Lesnar. If Lesnar's contract is going to be up after WrestleMania, then his last match should be against Undertaker. That match just makes too much sense. If Taker has another one after that, then it's obvious that Cena should be the last. 22-0 and he's done. Such an uneven number, but I don't see how Undertaker would continue to go beyond that.
Shame he can't go to 25-0. And don't get me wrong, I love his matches with HBK and HHH, but it kind of stinks that The Streak got so big. I feel like Undertaker could have helped so many guys become bigger stars by facing them at WrestleMania, but now, unless you're a megastar, there is no way that you'll get to face Taker at Mania.
I'm talking about guys like Sheamus, Cody Rhodes, Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler, Wade Barrett and even Drew McIntyre. A match with Taker at WrestleMania would have helped them immensely. Aside from being used to make stars, there are a few veterans like Christian, Mick Foley and Chris Jericho who I have always said would have had a great rivalry/match with Taker at 'Mania. I'm not saying I wish that we wouldn't have seen The Streak matches we've seen since 2009. I'm just saying that it would have been cool if The Streak would have been used to have a more long-term effect on WWE.

I see what youre saying, they made up for that with the PPVs in a way. But now he's extremely limited and less mobile.

If the streak lives I think Undertaker will be apart of Wrestlemania until he dies. The streak means so much to Wrestlemania

Re: Official Undertaker WM Streak Thread - No Other Threads
Maybe, but I don't want to see Undertaker have Streak matches if he can no longer deliver. As long as he can put on a good match, I'm all for it. But that man has been wrestling for a really, really long time. You have to believe that there will be a point where he can no longer go. If it comes to be that he can no longer move around as well in the ring and perform on the big stage, I'd rather he retire.
