Re: Official Undertaker WM Streak Thread - No Other Threads
I think it'll be against Lesnar as well. If that's the case Lesnar needs to beat HHH at Summerslam because otherwise what the fuck. He comes back and loses to Cena, HHH, and Undertaker? I hope the pay was worth it.

Re: Official Undertaker WM Streak Thread - No Other Threads
He's just fucking with the fans.
He cant miss mania this year and next year for that matter, not after what HBK & HHH have done to elevate his streak and his career since 2006.

I though 'Taker was a possibility for Mania too? I mean you could've just said that as an example but I know there were reports that Taker got Rock, Cena or Brock. His choice. Were those plans scrapped? Confused and slightly dissapointed, that's a dream match even though I've seen it before.

Undertaker vs. Psycho Sid - Wrestlemania 13
Alright, I have to come clean about it is that I love this match. It is overshadowed by Bret Hart vs. Steve Austin, which is of course, an outstanding match, and then you had the Chicago Street Fight which was awesome too but I do love the main event, Undertaker vs. Psycho Sid.
Yeah, given I'm an Undertaker fan but when I was young and I was watching the match, it really got me involved and emotional and hoping The Undertaker to win the title but the only thing I didn't like was the finish because I wanted Undertaker to win it cleanly but anywho, I do find the match entertaining and this is the first time I have seen Undertaker being tombstoned which was unlikely at the time. I have watched it back again now on the 20 - 0 DVD and still have the emotion for it... it may not be the ALL-TIME CLASSIC but it was one the matches that made an impact on me, personally. I don't get the hate and dislike about it and I still rate it about *** stars or so because the two did deliver a one heck of a good contest and Sid was dominating which made The Undertake feel like the underdog, And I also find a bit underrated at main event matches concerned.
So, does anyone here feel the love to the match that I do?

Least favorite wrestlers: Hulk Hogan, Hulk Hogan, Hulk Hogan (yes, I mentioned him 3 times, got a problem?), Santino Marella (he's not funny... he's annoying and he never wrestles), Hornswoggle, Rob Van Dam (Bite me!).
The best way to watch wrestling is to kick back, relax, and enjoy what's given to you. Yes, I know... there are ratings... star ratings... that exist but those could ruin the experience of watching and getting psyched over the underrated matches.

Thought it was pretty good, but Bret Harts interference kinda got annoying. Still solid though.

Re: Official Undertaker WM Streak Thread - No Other Threads
For as long as he plans to wrestle, Undertaker won't miss a Mania, and Vince will give him the wedge to ensure that. Can't see him facing anyone but Lesnar next year - as someone said in the summerslam threads, HBK being involved in the Lesnar V HHH feud is a way of bringing Undertaker in.

I did enjoy the match. It was a decent Wrestlemania main event. Loved seeing Undertaker is his old look again that night

How can they make it seem like The Streak is in jepody again?
To me they've painted themselves into a corner after WM27. I can't remember exactly what he endured but he kicked out of what? 3 Pedigees and took 20 chair shots before finally being tombstoned?
If he can take all that and still win then how can he lose and make it seem believeable? If he manages to lose and it takes less than what he took at WM27 \ WM28 then it's going to be anti climatic because no one is going to expect it and it's going to be a big "meh is that it, 20 years for that..." moment.
If it takes more than WM27 \ WM28 to beat him then again they've painted themselves into a corner because once he's kicked out of 3 or 4 finishers at 3 or 4 WM's in a row then it starts to become stupid and impossible to suspend your disbelief.
So how do people actually see Taker losing and how can they make it believeable when he does lose?
And how can they build up a match before hand to make it seem like he might have a chance in losing.
The only way I can think of it is making it appear in non kayfabe they have a legit reason for wanting it to end. Either turning Cena heel before hand will give you the "OMG no way Cena is going to lose his first match as a heel" or something stupid like dirtsheets predicting Taker is going to lose because he was doing drugs or something dumb behind the scenes.
What people think?

Re: How can they make it seem like The Streak is in jepody again?
Kayfabewise 4 Finishing moves would put him away I think. After he he's been beaten down throughout the match and can barely cling to life. As well as that, something I noticed from the last two Wrestlmanias. Triple H failed to use the sledgehammer on Undertaker in both matches, so maybe if someone did use it on him they could use it as a way to beat the Undertaker.
