Re: Official Undertaker WM Streak Thread - No Other Threads

I know what you mean Zep - I love the Rock, but he's never been better than Undertaker in terms of ring work and match quality. Considering his size and now age, Undertaker's speed and agility in the ring are outstanding. See his 2007 work, some of the best he's ever done.

Yeah Punk has been the best thing the WWE has had and they have screwed him over at every turn. Sure he got a 400 day title run but he dropped it to the hasbeen rock.
Not to mention how they ruined the summer of punk angle where they could have had him gone for at least a month but nooo it was just less than two weeks.

Then the Taker could have come out and said you have not beaten me and that could have started the feud. It also would be a much better main event Streak vs Streak than Cena vs Rock II for the title.

And if you really wanted to pull a swerve you could have Punk go over the undertaker. And if you wanted to have taker win, that is fine too, just let him retire as WWE champion, and that is when you could have debuted the new title after a tourney
I would be all for a Punk vs Undertaker match if Punk got the win at Mania. In this day and age, it's hard to get good heels hated because most smarks and older people will cheer for someone if they play their role well, CM Punk ending the streak would get him over massively and would definitely cement him as one of the best of all time.

I still sort of have a feeling that WM will be a triple threat match, unless Taker is coming back next week, they wouldn't have much time to build a feud between him and Punk.

Cm Punk ending the streak would be terrible....... Just terrible.

Stone Cold Steve Austin
The Undertaker
Shawn Michaels
Chris Jericho
Brock Lesnar
Kurt Angle
HHH
Edge
CM Punk
Kane (98-04)

CM Punk vs Undertaker could happen at Wrestlemania 30

The problem is that Undertaker would have to win. He's already walked out of 'Mania with the title 3 times. Enough.

Re: Official Undertaker WM Streak Thread - No Other Threads

Despite the predictable outcome, Taker hasn't had a boring match since Henry in 2006.

I mean what would the tagline read "I just lost my title and matches to The rock and John Cena but iIm the true threat to the streak"???

They sacrificed any real interest in this feud (if it happens) for Rock Cena 2.
WWE would tell you the title on Rock is bringing more attention to WWE, but it's not. Rock is bringing it, the belt on his shoulder is irrelevant. End of the day, Rock wanted to be champion and Vince told him he could have whatever he wanted so he got it. Streak vs. Title would have been better, but during Mania season, this is the Rock Show so nothing to be done about it.

Coudn't agree more, i too liked the Rock back in his pomp, he had some excellent matches, but in terms of the present, there is no comparison between him and Taker in the ring IMHO.

And i wish we could bottle the Taker during that 06-08 period, fuck that was great.

Team Undertaker vs The Sheild?

Orton, Undertaker and Sheamus/Ryback v The Sheild? Anyone else get the feeling this is the route they might go with Undertaker if he is fit enough for Wrestlemania? Storyline wise it would make sense as him coming back to save the WWE. Plus he wouldn't need to do much in ring work, scores a pinfall victory at the end... 21-0.

"With God as my witness, he is broken in half."
