You don't kill off the villain in the first scene. I'll never buy into Lesnar the way I did before ER because he can be beaten. It makes all the difference in the world.
Undertaker's never defeated him. That still gives Lesnar the edge going into this feud. And honestly I feel like people are making such a big deal out of that loss that even if Lesnar put on the performance of a lifetime from now to WM they'd still complain about that one match. Pardon me that 15 seconds of the match Cena was winning.

I think I just got over it fairly quickly. I'll still be highly interested in Taker/Lesnar regardless.

Cena can go fuck himself. If WWE have ANY plans for the future, Cena would be relegated to a mid card feud at 'Mania with the most he could possibly do be in a title match. The show don't revolve around Cena and WWE need to accept that to those wondering where this leads him.

On another note, would LOVE to see this. They had such an epic feud, would nice to see Taker finally get that win..

Rock/Cena 2 doesn't really interest me too much as we all know Rock is NOT going to win, and the fued will be lacking in terms of promos/storyline, especially after last year, awaiting another Cena heel turn is one saving grace. Perhaps?

Brock/Taker doesn't really interest me too much as we all know Brock is NOT going to win, and the feud will be lacking in terms of promos/storyline, especially now that there is no streak/streak to run with. Though the match may be good.

I know you feel like people are making a big deal out of it but you don't seem to be able to understand why. Imagine in The Dark Knight, Batman killed the Joker on his first go. Imagine in any movie, the good guy beat the bad guy at their first meeting. That's it, the movie is over and you'd be sitting there in your seat asking yourself what the hell just happened. It's the same thing here and for the life of me I don't get how you can't understand that never mind you not understanding why it's a huge deal for the rest of us. You wouldn't accept it in the movies so why should you accept it here? I really don't know but you're obviously willing to give it a pass despite the fact that it makes absolutely no sense. I guess you wouldn't care if Cena had won against Punk last year then, right? I guess you wouldn't care if Ambrose or whoever else you like was hyped to holy fuck for months and then in their first big match they lost and fell at the first hurdle, right? It's a big deal to people because it was flat out stupid. Again, why and how you aren't able to grasp that is truly beyond me.

So is that why Undertaker confronted Lesnar at that one UFC event back then? Him saying "You still want to do it?" was a challenge for Wrestlemania? Why would Lesnar come back and add to Undertaker's streak anyways?

Rock talked about Lesnar and Taker as future opponents, another match with Cena will never top the "once in a lifetime" epic feeling and payoff. The feud is over.

My prediction is Lesnar taking the belt in January, Rock taking the Rumble. Rock/Brock at WM. Or, Rock saying that he said he wants the belt, but when he thought about it, there's one thing even better for him, the streak, Rock/Taker WM(different style of match, Rock and HHH are different opponents and Rock just beat Cena clean and beat him for the entire year, nobody is bigger than him kayfabe(maybe Taker at the same level) or business even in 2012)

Not interested. Undertaker is boring at WM because you know he's not going to lose. Only way to add any intrigue for me would be to leak the idea that Lesnar may shoot on 'Taker as it will be Lesnar's last match with the company and he would have nothing to lose.

To be honest I prefer to see The Rock go against Orton rather than Cena.

Nah, I would've cared about the Punk/Ambrose situations more because I'm bigger fans of them. Lesnar is more of a joy to watch wrestler but not someone I used to always root for in his first run and his UFC run annoyed me.

Like I said, it doesn't make much sense at all and to me it felt more like if Batman was to fight off Joker but barely able to live another day.

Seeing that they've done absolutely nothing with it now, my opinion has changed a bit since the day after. Had Cena taken the time off and Lesnar played it off as "losing the battle, winning the war" I think more people would've accepted it. With those points though it does make more sense. I just think that he could easily turn it around in the next 8 months.

Brock vs Rock would be much more compelling because the outcome would be up in the air. Similarly Undertaker vs Cena would be more compelling as Cena is the only guy I could see Undertaker willing to give up the streak to, and could see Vince wanting to put Cena over Undertaker.
