Whether it is Punk or not. They should not have anyone defeat the streak until AFTER Taker has met John Cena. They are missing out on a potential big money match there, perhaps even have it an 'I Quit' match or something. Undertaker defeats the face of the company and then the following year CM Punk or anyone who is scheduled to face him defeats the streak.
It won't do anything to Takers credibility. He went fucking 20+ years undefeated at Wrestlemania. People will still tune in to see The Undertaker whether he has a loss to his name or not. It's The Undertaker for god sake!

Re: Official Undertaker WM Streak Thread - No Other Threads
I'm not so sure, not for nothing but Taker has missed out on all the faces he has been with before, is it a big money match? sure, and your idea works, but its not like they MISSED out, Cena and taker while may be good buys and what not may be problematic, mainly cause I could, sadly, see Cena wining and if he dose win, that will take away form the new guys win (I agree with you that takers not the problem)
*I dont think it would be Cena per say moving for him to end it, taker him self, or someone else most likely would love the diea

The streak shouldn't be broken, Punk is my favorite guy on the roster atm (not counting ), but I wouldn't want him ending the streak either.

Re: Official Undertaker WM Streak Thread - No Other Threads
What good dose the streak do when Taker is gone?
we always talk about how the new guys should be pushed to me thats one of the few impossible to fuck up (which means WWE will find four ways to easily) ways to get some one the man

Re: Official Undertaker WM Streak Thread - No Other Threads
Can they take that risk though?
I mean they could have some new "star" break the streak thinking it'll give him the rub and the crowd would just not give a shit or he decides to pack his bags and leave because he realised wrestling isn't for him and doesn't like the travelling.

Re: Official Undertaker WM Streak Thread - No Other Threads
But I'm talking when Taker is done, if he leaves he leaves, it adds nothing to the streak, there is no risk, the streak would be "dead" at that point anyways in this case

Re: Official Undertaker WM Streak Thread - No Other Threads
Wheres all this talk of Punk breaking the streak coming from? Any source? Not that dirtsheets are ever great anyway. It is all nonsense. Anyway it has to be said: Why in anyone's mind should Punk break the streak? The guy is the number 2 of the company, has already has "launch-pad" and "defining" moment. Not to mention he is retiring in 2-3 years (2015-2016 sometime). Especially since we haven't even had the biggest possible streak match for Undertaker versus John Cena.
The only options for the end of the streak are:
(i) It ends to an up and coming babyface when the feud is built carefully.
(ii) It ends to a John Cena heel turn.
(iii) It remains in tact and Undertaker retires.

Re: Official Undertaker WM Streak Thread - No Other Threads
I think the rumors about his health are false. Yea he can be hurting a little from the toll his body took over the years but come on the guy has been wrestling 1 match a year. He gets a years rest everytime and just cause of that I cant see his body hurting that bad to wear he cant wrestle 1 match a year. I truly believe he will be competing at WM 29 and WM 30. Its one match a year ONE match

Re: Official Undertaker WM Streak Thread - No Other Threads
^^ Yeah, he's only been wrestling over 20 years, had multiple injuries, who knows what that has truly done on his health and body, if he feels fine then great id love to see him back, but if not I fully respect that, like I said before, his well-being comes first.
He's getting older not younger, but id love to see him of course.
