Default Re: If undertaker doesn't compete at wrestlemania

You know what, if he doesn't face Brock or Punk doesn't have the title, I'd prefer it if he stayed away, HOWEVER, think of this...

Cena beats Rock in the main event, Cena celebrates, tired, on a high with the belt- DONG... Crowd goes wild, signals the start of WM30!

The storyline wouldnt have made sence if Taker returned at the rumble. AND hes a VIP at WM axxess no way he would be at Axxess if he wasnt competing
WHAT?! I never bother to check out the axxess stuff, but I assume that means he's gonna do autographs and stuff for VIPs?

This is what I was thinking.

Don't get me wrong I'm a fan of the guy. But I would be perfectly content with the HIAC match last year with Hunter being it. Ending it an with the "End of an Era" title and going out 20-0. It wouldn't be the most terrible way to close out his wrestling career.

While it would suck not seeing him perform there. He's not going to be around forever. If he's not in the shape or in proper health to perform a quality match, I don't think he should go out. He's had a hell of a career and the streak is a WrestleMania tradition. But all good things must come to an end eventually.

No, Rocky gets that because he's still fully capable of performing on a regular basis, Undertaker can't There's a seven year age difference between the two in Rocky's favour. Seven years is roughly half the duration of a mainstream wrestler's career, with 40(The Rock's age) being the approximate wall where most wrestlers absolutely should stop performing if they don't want to embarrass themselves. Undertaker has managed to reach 47 without retiring, which is quite a feat compared to most, even when you take into consideration the lighter schedule he's worked the past decade.

Anyway, I don't really care for the guy at all, but he deserves props where due, and he's most certainly given us enough that nobody can be justified in complaining if he doesn't show up.

Cena/Punk is the only 5 star WWE match of the last 15 years?

He's right if he's quoting Meltzer's opinion which I assume he is.

Before that, you have to go all the way back to the 97 BB HIAC.

I like Meltzer, but don't take his word as the gospel. I'm not even 100% sure I'd give Punk/Cena the full 5 stars, but there are others. (Taker/HBK WM 25)

Meltzer gave Rock vs Punk 4 stars.

Instant discredit.

Even as a huge fan of the feud I know that "match" barely scraped 3 stars.
