Yeah, The Streak matches have been used to fall back on since WM 25. As if saying, if this WM sucks, we'll still have 1 match people will talk about.

I just hope Taker/Punk pick the road ala Taker/Angle or taker/Edge where they just go all out with everything on their arsenals instead of trying to mimic Taker/HBK like they did in 2009. They don't blend well psychologically, but physically it might be different and if done well, we'll have our show stealer.

Taker's on a good roll, he's been stealing the show at WM since WM 27. Pretty soon he'll dethrone Michaels for the title of Mr. Wrestlemania, LOL.

Remember what I said about Cena/Taker at WM, man?

The day I'm proven wrong "I apologize for not believing Taker/Cena would ever happen at Wrestlemania" will be my sig for a month.
I've considered Taker the real Mr. Wrestlemania since 2002 when he had a great match with Flair. At that point, he was 10-0 and I just considered him the best ever in WM history.

Wait, do you not think Cena/Taker will ever happen AT ALL? That's pretty interesting.

What? Wasn't it you whom I talked to about Taker/Cena never happening like, ever?

Oh well, I noticed Taker never fought any certain era of WWE at Wrestlemania. He missed Hogan (Golden Era), Bret (New Gen), Austin & Rock (Attitude), and Lesnar (Post War). And since it's been going on for 23 years this 2013, I refuse to believe it was all coincidence. I believe Vince avoided booking Taker vs the face of an era at WM, so I have no reason to believe Taker vs Cena (PG Era) will ever happen at Wrestlemania 30 or 31 or 32, or at any Wrestlemania really.

But, like I said above, if I'm ever proven wrong and Taker/Cena does happen (highly unlikely of course), I'm willing to put my apology statement as my sig for one month to admit my mistake.

Speaking about WM 18, it's interesting to note although Taker has never faced the face of WWE at WM, he did defeat the biggest face of NWA/WCW ever in Ric Flair (and would have defeated their second biggest face had Sting/Taker happened at WM).

That is kinda funny. Austin fought Taker more than anyone, yet never at WM.

If Taker had to pick between Brock and Cena, I think he would choose Brock, that seems like a slightly bigger match. I've heard some say this is like the Hogan/Andre of this era, not exactly sure where they are getting that. I can see how Taker is the Andre of his time, and yeah Cena has been called the poor man's Hogan, but the situation is different. Hogan was the top star who pretty much became a legend thanks to Andre putting him over. I think Cena will be vilified if he beats Taker. Matter of fact, most Cena fans I have talked to think breaking the Streak would be the perfect heel turn.

I'd rather see Taker/Brock or even Rock/Taker in a GOAT vs. Streak match.

- There was talk at Monday's RAW that one of the reasons The Undertaker didn't make an appearance at the Royal Rumble is because he's not so sure that he will work WrestleMania 29 now.

The plan had been for Taker to wrestle CM Punk but WWE officials are still waiting on Taker's decision. There's a feeling among some within WWE that Taker will end up wrestling but the discussion at RAW was they may have to come up with another WrestleMania storyline for Punk.

Re: Official Undertaker WM Streak Thread - No Other Threads

That is such bullshit haha I want to throw apples at the person who wrote this. We all know Taker is comming back the writing is on the wall. HHH would have never said we havent seen the last of Taker at the slammys if he wasnt comming back. He wasnt at the rumble because there was no need to be there. The storyline wouldnt have made sence if Taker returned at the rumble. AND hes a VIP at WM axxess no way he would be at Axxess if he wasnt competing

Proud mark and supporter of Triple H. All of his wins are well deserved and he has earned his spot. Theres nothing you guys can do about it. Haters can suck it.

My 10 Favorite Wrestlers of all Time
1. Stone Cold Steve Austin
2. Shawn Michaels
3. Chris Jericho
4. Triple H
5. Edge
6. Undertaker
7. The Rock
8. Bret Hart
9. Kurt Angle
10. Mick Foley

Re: Official Undertaker WM Streak Thread - No Other Threads

Bullshit to him not competing, what Stone Hot says. I could see a situation where Sheamus faces the Undertaker not punk, he's expressed his desire to face Taker, I dont like him, but he's certainly credible enough. As well as this, the WHC between him and Orton is looking less likely due to ADR getting over.

Re: Official Undertaker WM Streak Thread - No Other Threads

Hope he comes back, but ive always had my doubts tbh, if he isnt in condition then he should rest and make an effort for WM30, i love Taker, ever since he debuted in WWF, but as longs as he's alright then its fine.

But of course id love to see him at Mania...

Re: Official Undertaker WM Streak Thread - No Other Threads

I think Taker may be upset. He should be main eventing WM29 and in spite of that it seems he isn't even considered for the 2nd biggest match of the night. I have a feeling he wants to face Lesnar. In fact we all want that.
