[quote=FredForeskinn;13240865]mmm Ive been telling they should do a storyline like that too at times. It would be a great end for both. Lets say someone of them chokeslams the other thru the ring(down to hell) and the one falling down gets up with an arm and grabs the other one and drags him down with him. Both goes home.

I like that idea mabye undertaker can tombstone kane through the ring followed by a black out and some wierd magic gimmick mabye fire or something from all over the arena and then paul bearer pulls a drama act and goes looks into the hole in the middle of the ring when suddenly undertaker pulls one of his legs and kane pulls the other and drags him into hell with them

this would mean that the match ends in a no result and doesnt undermine the streak as technically undertake did not loose/win but just "returned home"

Default What if Punk ended the streak?

It's safe to say by now that CM Punk is a future Hall of Famer. He has his Austin 3:16 moment in the Raw Roulette Pipebomb, he has the longest WWE title reign of the modern era, he's the only back to back MitB winner. He's huge right now.

So what if tonight on RAW (Raw Roulette again - very fitting) Punk is all set to deliver a Pipebomb about how he wants his title back and how he was screwed. When bam...lights out. Everyone expects the Shield. When the lights come on, Undertaker is in the ring staring down Punk, he points to the WM sign and leaves.

Taker would then go away for a while, maybe a few cryptic promos interrupt Punk's mic time. But Punk would then enter EC for the WWE title. It would be down to Punk and Rock. Punk looks like he's about to win, then Taker appears from beneath the chamber, chokeslams him, and leaves. Setting us up for Mania.

Bonus points from my own personal preference would be if Taker adopted a Phenom/ABA hybrid character, since if losing the streak is to be his last match, he needs to lose the protected character for his HoF induction and possibly a goodbye tribute episode the following RAW. Using his best theme ever:

The streak has become too big for Taker vs Kane IMHO, i love them both but, been done to death, yeah its a 'romantic' ending but, not for me.

I'm with you up to the point where Punk goes over. I'd like to see the feud and match but the time for Taker's streak to end is gone.

It will never happen. If he did, he still be in the same position as he's in now.

Are you kidding me? Whoever ends the streak is set for life. It would be disrespectful of WWE to Taker if the winner wasn't pushed to the moon afterwards.

I think he should, but then it ruins Taker/Cena at WM if they ever want to do that, so he won't.

Hell even Michaels would be great for a third match with their recent feud, and tbh Michaels made the streak relevant.
I know what you mean, but Kane stopped being a credible threat after Wrestlmania 20. That was the end of Kane as far as I can see, because after that he just lost all his star power. They're not going to have Kane end the streak, that's for sure. Other then that, there's no other reason. Plus we don't know when they're going to retire. We don't know when Undertaker will leave wrestling for good, or when Kane will retire. For all we know, they'll retire at different times. But I don't think Undertaker Vs Kane III at Wrestlmania is a good idea. As I said before, matches that Undertaker hasn't had are much better.

Surely they wouldn't go that far right? WWE knows that 50% of the viewers hate his guts, they wouldn't feed the streak to Cena like the millions of free title shots he's gotten. It's too important for that.

Beating Taker at Wrestlemania is at most giving someone 15 minutes of fame. It's more of an acclade. It's not going to guarantee anyone main events on PPVs. It doesn't mean that more people are going to pay to see them at the arenas, or tune in just to see him.
