Except none of it is true. Taker didn't bury Punk, he is still a bigger star than Punk, plus Punk was also never the top star, and calling the Streak overrated is just stupid. If he no sells the Streak, then why would he ever challenge Taker for it? I give Punk the edge on mic skills but that's it.

Eh, why bother. They will just go from arguing size to saying BUT HES NO HBK!! GRRRR!! Point is, haters jump from one thing to the next. First it's size, then they question his abilities and then so on and on. It really is pathetic.

If Taker/Punk can steal the show from HHH/Lesnar 2 & Rock/Cena 2, more story and bigger accomplishment to tell in the future.
I didn't say a match had to be a WrestleMania main event to be memorable, but Punk NEEDS a WrestleMania main event at this stage of his career and I will accept NOTHING less at this point, after the year he's had. If he wants to fight Taker in the midcard at WrestleMania 30 then I have no problem with it, but not THIS year.
The guy only has until 2015 according to him, the clock is running out on him getting what he deserves. You can't be as good as Punk and not get the WrestleMania main event at least ONCE, it's a crime.

i would think the younger guy (cm punk) would have a legit shot at kicking takers ass in real life.
so as far as punk not looking like a legitimate contender, you are just trolling.
He also looks like he hasn't worked out in a while in that picture. I'm not disagreeing with the point you're trying to make, though. In a legitimate fight I'm sure that Calaway could hold his own to a degree, but the man is full of injury. In kayfabe, Taker doesn't stay down for long.

I agree, it is time for the seven year push of CM Punk to come to an end. The guy just can't get over with the masses. And a stadium full of smarks in Metlife Stadium is not going to fool me into thinking otherwise. Punk needs to give back to the WWE by losing the strap to Rock, jobbing to Ryback, help out in the midcard, and then becomes heel Cena's bitch. There is nowhere else to go but down after this reign anyway.

Seven year push?
You literally know nothing about how wrestling works. You don't go from a record breaking reign to the midcard. Haters gonna hate.
Re: Official Undertaker WM Streak Thread - No Other Threads
that pic is why lesnar wont face taker, taker while still good is aging, dude is pushing 50 years old and has had some fierce battles, facing a beast like lesnar who can be a little botchy and intense would quickly turn that match down
punk would be a good choice EXCEPT he is not a legit threat to the streak, at this point taker after all his recent mania matches needs a epic match with someone who is a legit threat
comes down to two names, rock or cena
rock/taker probably not happening as much as i like it, i can't see two legends who are so over as faces go at it, cena on the other hand would create massive interest and hate, really think about that match for a minute and how big it would be
taker doesn't have many matches left, and he's very respected and cares about the quality in the ring, if he can't atleast hold his own i doubt he'll stay
as for cena, maybe not the greatest wrestler, but the crowd and big fight atmosphere for that match would make is great, rock/hogan was great because of the crowd, and every little move felt big
new york crowd who hates cena, going against the most respected legend, wrestlemania streak on the line, this is the match i want to see
