Come on Tyrion, how do you know big matches are already set? Plans can and will change between now and the royal rumble. You never know. I just have a feeling that Brian Maddox will interfere and cost Rock the championship. His backstage segments with Heyman are leading to something IMO. You cannot be 100% sure that Rock is winning the title.
You think BRAD MADDOX, the geek of all geeks is going to cost Rock the title in a major PPV title bout? If Maddox tries to interfere, Rock will knock his ass out and that will be the end of it. The only chance for interference is Brock Lesnar, which is unlikely because Brock is working with Triple H, not Rock.
Besides, the idea of Rock winning the title in the Elimination Chamber instead of the Rumble has been discussed, but the idea of Rock not winning the title, PERIOD, has not been discussed. He's going to win the title, and one way or the other, it will be Rock vs Cena at Mania and Undertaker vs Punk. Even if Punk retained until Mania, it's STILL Undertaker vs Punk, and it's STILL a midcard match. There's no way around it, Punk is getting screwed no matter what. Meltzer and every other credible source has confirmed the projection of Mania for the top 3 matches for months now.
I'm still not convinced that WWE didn't come to agreement with Austin. If Austin is onboard then I 100% guarantee with membership on the line, that Punk/Austin mainevents the ppv with austin putting Punk over. In a state like New York, the crowd is going to be insane, plus being wrestlemania, I guarantee that the crowd gives the Punk/Austin match even more noise than Rock/Cena which will justify it closing out the show.
Then you'll lose. On both counts, the main event and Punk winning. Heels never win the main event of WrestleMania, and Austin won't come back to job, nor will WWE have enough respect for Austin or Punk to put them ahead of Rock and Cena.
