That would be good, because I think people would genuinely question who was gonna win. On the one hand, nobody would ever be convinced Punk could end the Streak; on the other hand, nobody would ever be convinced Undertaker would (or could) carry a World Title again.

Punk can always play the 3rd whee lto Rock/Cena and most likely eat the pin by John Cena. IMO thats even worst for the guy. Its moot because all of this mess is because of Hunter not Cena (if the rumored matches happen)

In general because it's a throwaway match second or third from the top. I don't care if it's Undertaker, Brock, Triple H, doesn't matter. Not even Steve Austin. I won't accept anything but Punk vs Rock in the main event. And not what they just call a main event, in the middle of the show, but the actual main event, the closer.

Punk vs Taker for the title is terrible too because you're wasting the longest title reign in 25 years on somebody who's just going to disappear the next night, get no rub from it and then play the disappearing man again for another year. At LEAST it would get Punk the 500 day title reign that he deserves, but there's no way he's holding the title that long. The big matches are already set.

It's not worse for him, it's MUCH better. It's a main event. Jobbing in the main event is better than jobbing in the midcard. I don't care if Punk wins at Mania but he MUST go on last.

Also, I doubt Punk would eat the pin because the whole reason it's Rock and Cena again is because Cena needs to beat ROCK, not Punk. It could happen but that's the whole reason for a rematch.

If you have Punk retain until Mania, you have Rock and Cena somehow getting shots at Mania, together, and then Cena pins Rock, that's PERFECT. You end at 500 days, just a little over, Cena gets his win back on Rock, and you can immediately transition to a Punk vs Cena feud because Punk can say he should still be the champion because Cena pinned Rock, not him. Everybody wins in that scenario, Punk wins because he gets what he deserves, Cena wins because he gets the title and wins the main event, and Rock wins because Rock can't lose because he's Rock and he has more star power than the two of them put together. In the scenario that's actually going to happen, only Cena wins and Punk gets fucked in the ass, so of COURSE they go that direction.
