I turned into a Cena fan today.
Let me begin by saying for the past 5 years I have hated absolutely HATED John Cena. All of the same crap over and over again. I couldn't stand it. I hated that he couldn't wrestle his way out of a paper bag and I hated that hes loved by just fans all over and not "smark" fans like myself. I hated each and every one of his mindless promos that never got anything across. Needless to go on, I didn't like the guy.
That is until I re-watched the Cena and Rock retrospective before Raw this past Monday.
Who and the hell am I to judge this guy. As a fan I should be kissing this guy's pumped up kicks. This guy is probably the most genuine, loving, caring and go-to guy that the business has. And I've spent...no, wasted all my time hating him. Seeing all the smiles he brings to faces all over, and holy shit... the wishes that he grants seriously almost tore me apart. This guy is a man that you could bring to war and he'd probably put himself in front of you. I don't know, maybe I'm reading too much into, but I am a Cena fan now.
Tonight I am extremely excited to finally cheer for a guy that I haven't ever cheered for. It almost makes me feel like I'm a heel turning face =P.
I wondered if anyone else has had thoughts turn around on either Cena or Rock heading into 'Mania?
