Although Wrestlemania could be a good show, Summerslam could be better considering it's in Brooklyn. We may get Sasha/Bayley III, Brock/Joe, a potential Kurt Angle return. That in itself tells me that SS could be an epic show.
Re: Which will be the better show this year: Wrestlemania 33 or Summerslam?
It's literally impossible to say at the moment. Wrestlemania hasn't even happened yet, and Summerslam is 6 months away, who knows what could happen in that timespan.
Re: Which will be the better show this year: Wrestlemania 33 or Summerslam?
Without knowing the SummerSlam card, how are we supposed to know?
The WrestleMania line up doesn't inspire me at all, though, outside of Bray Wyatt walking into the event as WWE Champion. If it wasn't for that, I probably wouldn't watch it, so I'm sure SummerSlam will be an overall better show, but it won't feature anything as great as that (I assume by then he'll have lost it, surely) and for my own selfish reason, I'm probably going to side with WrestleMania. I guess the Jericho and Owens match is interesting too, but it's midcard on this card.
SummerSlam would have to go out of their way to be worse, I think. John Cena in a fucking mixed tag with Nikki Bella, Miz and Maryse, immobile Undertaker vs Roman in a passing of the torch that nobody buys, Goldberg vs Brock where they try to stretch a match out for 5 minutes, Dean Ambrose vs Baron Corbin at the biggest show of the year. Not a fan.
Assuming we get something like Lesnar/Reigns, Cena/Goldberg, Balor/Styles for Raw
Asuka/Sasha Banks, Nakamura/Kurt Angle, Rollins/Bray Wyatt for Smackdown
^^Take this over Mania easily.
