Am i the only one sensing a massive heel turn?

Haven't been on here much lately, so haven't been able to see if there's been any talk of this. But i think its likely that Ambrose will turn heel on Reigns. The Reigns/Wyatt program will have run its course, so where to next for Reigns? Ambrose has just been spinning his wheels lately and there is clearly only so far he'll be allowed to go as a face. What are the chances of a heel turn and program after Summerslam?

I have the same feeling (massive heel turn) every WM and SS and I'm almost always wrong.

That Lunatic character can literally never be a top star. The only way he's ever going to go anywhere is if he ditches that character.

Re: WWE SummerSlam Discussion Thread

It's Summerslam and it's time to build new stars.

They need to have Rusev go comfortable over Ziggler and continue his momentum. Time to make the divas look like stars too. Kevin Owens and Antonio Cesaro are both deserving of being top stars so in my honest opinion I do not mind who goes over because I know both will give us the match of the night and end up looking strong in the process. The New Day need to win the titles, they are single handedly keeping the tag division alive. I honestly don't care who wins the IC title, these three seem to have been feuding for months.

Then it gets interesting. I'd personally have the Wyatt Family go OVER Ambrose/Reigns as I think they should be built up dominantly and in the process have Ambrose turn heel on Reigns. That way you give Wyatt and Harper a good win, you give Ambrose a fresh direction in his strongest style of heel too which he desperately needs. You simply HAVE to have Rollins go over Cena too by the way. Clean.

Re: WWE SummerSlam Discussion Thread

With the show being 4 hours, there's no reason why any of the matches go shorter than at least 10 minutes. No reason whatsoever. The shortest is surely going to be Barrett/Stardust vs. Amell/Neville, but that's purely for the fact that Neville will end up working the majority of the match, only for Amell to get the hot tag, spend a maximum of 2-3 minutes in the match and then end up pinning Stardust. Simple.

I'm looking forward to SummerSlam. I think the build has been decent. Lesnar/Taker is STILL a big match (and less predictable than their 'Mania contest - even though the result was one that nobody on the planet expected to happen), Rollins/Cena is a massive draw & you have a stacked undercard of Owens/Cesaro & Wyatt Family vs. Reigns & Ambrose amongst others to fill the card out nicely. Unlike the past couple of years, this year seems much more than a 'two-match card'.

I'd love to see the Wyatt's coming out of SummerSlam looking strong. They NEED to beat Reigns & Ambrose. It's more vital for Wyatt & Harper to win as opposed to Reigns/Ambrose. An Ambrose heel turn could nicely set up a 2-3 month feud with the culmination at Survivor Series in some kind of gimmick match. Build it up as the secondary feud behind Cena/Rollins or whoever is Main Eventing for the title. In the meanwhile, give the Wyatt Family some genuine credibility again. Lets be honest, neither Wyatt or Harper's singles runs really worked out all to well. They suit each other much better as a team/faction. This is what I'd do:

- Have them beat Reigns/Ambrose at SummerSlam due to a heel turn. Have Ambrose hit Dirty Deeds on Reigns before walking out, leaving Wyatt or Harper to pin Reigns cleanly. Then on RAW, Wyatt & Harper come out and proclaim that their win at SummerSlam re-lit the spark. It set them back on course after months of misery. Wyatt proclaims that he's had enough of playing second or third fiddle to the likes of John Cena or Roman Reigns & it's time to chase after what he believes should be his - the WWE Title. He states that he wants to dominate the company, and the only way to do that is in numbers. He brings out The Ascension & Adam Rose & The Wyatt Family is reborn.

Bare with me.. Fundamentally, it could work & if it's built correctly could give some guys genuine hope who have found themselves dwelling in the lowercard for months if not years. Wyatt, obviously, the natural leader of the group. Harper is the tall, strong & dominant henchman/body-guard type role, The Ascension is the tag team & if WWE were to scrap 'Adam Rose' and re-brand him as Leo Kruger, he could be re-built as a contender for the IC or US Titles.

Shaemus Will Cash-In at SummerSlam.

Have typically been of the opinion that they were looking to put off Shaemus's run until after WM to coincide with his role in TMNT2, but then something struck me like a thunderbolt.

Its the easiest solution to split the titles. Whoever wins will have both the US and WWE Title. But the cash-in is only for one or the other, and obviously will be for the WWE Title.

As such, I do see Rollins winning fairly clean here in a hard fought match that will put him over as the first guy to hold both titles at the same time.

Then carrot top comes out and swipes the WWE Title from him. Your new US Champion is Seth Rollins. No statue for you as The Authority said he could have one IF HE LEAVES SummerSlam with both titles.

And you put the US on Seth via the win over Cena. If you go the other way, it makes no sense for Seth to go after John Cena for the US Title, when he'd really want the WWE Title back. But if Rollins has the US, Cena can force him to continue the feud, because Cena doesn't believe him worthy of the US Title.
