Age old WrestleMania question...

This question has been asked a million times and it's pretty pointless cos it'll most likely never happen. But as an Englishman, I wanna know what the big deal would be with bringing mania to the UK?
Like with RAW its taped and they cant show it live cos half the viewers will most likely be at work with it being 1/2pm on a Monday, and their time slot on the networks is what it is.

But, if Wrestlemania made the mighty jump to Wembley stadium, and the main portion of the event took place from 8pm-12am, I doubt any of us would massively object? (pre show would start at 6pm which would be lunch time to you guys) Its one time probably in a life time and for you Americans thats 2pm/3pm start time on a Sunday? I don't see that being a huge issue? I also see the WWE Network working in favour of this too. Im not too sure how Im just desperately looking for pros

Now all that being said. I just wanna ask why that early start time is seen as a massive issue? People always go to "results would be leaked" but 2pm is hardly a huge issue IMO.

P.S John Cena said it guys, jeez that means... Well it's a start.

I'm with you. I think it should be there, even if they do have to do it very late night. The crowds are phenomenal and you guys deserve a Mania.

Re: Age old Wrestlemania question...

My question would be when is Vince going to give an Englishman the World title? So many have been deserving and they never get a look in... Even when we had two world titles and one of them didn't even mean much, we never got a British champ..

Re: Age old Wrestlemania question...

Well Cena was just pandering. but I would like to see a UK PPV. I just don't see it being Mania.

Perhaps MITB or Summerslam.
Or a UK themed and appropriately rebranded PPV in place of Battleground.

Maybe even the Royal Rumble, and emphasize the "royal".

If they could fill Wembley Stadium, that Wrestlemania would absolutely ROCK.

American audiences are spoilt and will just moan if Mania has an earlier start time, I don't know why because they have no problem watching NFL games live from the UK. Mayeb with the Network and no reliance on selling PPV's anymore, maybe we will finally get another PPV in the UK.

Re: Age old WrestleMania question...

I think it's long overdue to have a Summerslam, Wrestlemania or a Rumble at either Wembley or Cardiff. Two of the best venues in Europe. I think the WWE network may be of help in the near future as WWE may be less reliant on PPV, but I wouldn't be surprised if we had a minor PPV first, probably at the O2 arena in London.

Doesn't the UK have a law against late performance? I say The Wall at Wembley and it ended quite early as most other UK concerts I've been to. Plus public transport at 12 would be a pain.

Re: Age old WrestleMania question...

Would make sense for a PPV to be at Wembley again. They did a great job with Summerslam 1992.

I'd love an afternoon Mania and the British crowd would be the hottest of all time
