Re: What WWE PPV should they bring back?
I'm a huge fan of a couple of those gimmick PPVs. Specifically MITB and HIAC. MITB allows smaller feuds to continue within the large ladder match. Giving us a bunch of good 2 PPV long feuds. HIAC is a nice finale for at least one of the feuds. It's always irritating to watch a steel cage match where people just climb out, the HIAC match is a much cooler way to go and gives us a clear winner to a feud in a way that only WrestleMania replicates.
I'd love to see TLC and Extreme Rules dropped. They seem like unnecessary dangers to shove on the entire roster all at once. They are too similar. And you can put those same stipulation matches in any PPV so it's not as special when they appear in a PPV. If TLC/ER were the unique once a year place to see a ladder match or a unique once a year place to see tables I could see them becoming important. But right now it feels more like, "alright let's somehow work a tables match into this feud."
Honestly I'd like to see more gimmick based PPVs that don't end feuds, similar to MITB. As was already suggested, King of the Ring is a perfect example. One guy wins a major feather for his cap, no one else looks bad in the process, and it extends feuds without giving a clear winner (in the sense that a 2nd round win was arguably not a straight up match because one guy was more fatigued).
