Re: WrestleMania 31 - The Ultimate Travel Thread II

And here I am complaining about $600 airfair, so much so that I'm thinking about flying into Denver and taking the AmTrak train the rest of the way.

Way too many events to post in my sig.....

I booked mine with Virgin for 725 Kinda knew this would happen and I'd end up seeing some for loads cheaper, but, just wanted to get em sorted at the time xD
Yeah I know, crazy cheap. And haha thats unlucky but still flying with Virgin Atlantic is decent because I loved flying with them.

Haha i know, pretty much 50% of the money spent on going to WrestleMania for us from the UK is airfair :')

I don't know how economical it is, but the way airfares are here in the States, I will be saving $200 bucks by flying into Denver, then taking a day's train ride to San Jose, and flying out of Oakland then I would be flying into and out of any of the 3 airports

Way too many events to post in my sig.....

Re: WrestleMania 31 - The Ultimate Travel Thread II

I have booked in at the Motel 6 Santa Clara, looks like a good midpoint between the SAP Center and Levi's, at about 5 miles to each with transport every 12 mins to SAP center nearby.

If you miss the connecting flight due to a delay (basically if it is the air lines fault) then they will put you on another flight, free of charge.

I am using the "SuperShuttle" service, it comes to 75 for 3 passengers (there and back from the hotel). It seems easy enough and good value as well.

Feel free to ask any more questions. Thanks.

What it takes u from San Francisco airport to hotel in San Jose, where did I find out about this? Might try that

Yeah it takes you from the airport to the hotel and then back again. You can just google SuperShuttle and follow the instructions from there.

Use booking.com, they have the Wyndham Hotel for less than $400 for 4 nights if you prepay right now. Motel 6 is a very low end hotel. I booked at the Country Inn and Suites in Sunnycale, but I'm most likely giving that up to stay at the Comfort Suites Airport location.
