Re: Wrestlemania 31 - The Ultimate Travel Thread II

After attending 4 WMs in a row and doing the travel packages 3 out of the 4 times I went its a lot for me. I really want to go to California since i never been there. If I go I might go to WM solo on this one. My buddies who I went with this year annoyed the crap out of me every time we were not on Bourbon street. Would anybody between the ages of 21-30 be interested in doing a silver travel package or maybe Gold with me?

Proud mark and supporter of Triple H. All of his wins are well deserved and he has earned his spot. Theres nothing you guys can do about it. Haters can suck it.

Re: Wrestlemania 31 - The Ultimate Travel Thread II

While flying home from New Orleans yesterday, Delta Airlines offered my friend and I $400 certificates each if we took a flight two hours later because our original flight was overbooked. So of course we took it.

I will be using that certificate to purchase my plane ticket to San Francisco. My uncle also lives in San Fran and I have never been out there so I will be spending some time with him as well. Since I'm saving so much money on flying and staying with him, I may splurge on Mania tickets and get some good seats compared to my usual $300 seats.

My two friends who went to 28 and 29 with us but skipped this year already told me they are going to 31. So it will be myself and four close friends.

CAN'T WAIT.

I might go with a few friends. I'm looking for a good paying job right now and we are getting the travel package for mania 31. I'm mainly on twitter @OtakuGamerSmark and on the 2k forums under wwefanphilly21

If you work as a busser or server or security in he bar/restaurant scene and live with your family, save up on tips. That's what I did. And do a small side job and maybe bake some goods to sell it.

I'm a big Giants fan who lives on the east coast. I can't wait to finally visit AT&T Park next year. Definitely doing Alcatraz also.

Re: Wrestlemania 31 - The Ultimate Travel Thread II

I'm not sure I'll be going because ill be going to school full time starting this August. So I'm glad I went this year.

Regarding advice for any of y'all , for airports, definitely fly into San Jose's airport. San Francisco Intl is another option. It's about 20 miles outside of San Jose but you can't go wrong with it either; you could arrange a shuttle for it; that or a taxi, because there won't be a BART station completed until months after WM31. Don't fly into Oakland, for like i said, it's months until afterward that BART is finished, plus it's a 40 mile drive between Oakland and San Jose.

Regarding venues for AXXESS and RAW, chances are it's the San Jose Convention Center for AXXESS and the arena where the San Jose Sharks play at for RAW.

I think the only activities outside of WWF stuff, you'd be a bit limited. Maybe going to Great America, which is a theme park.

Anyone that has good knowledge of the Bay Area more than me, feel free to pitch in.

I think he quickest way to get there from Santa Clara would be by BART. Second option would be taking a bus to prolly Fremont and get to AT&T park by BART from Fremont.

Re: Wrestlemania 31 - The Ultimate Travel Thread II

If I can find some people to go with, I'm thinking of doing a California sports road trip the week before. Hit up some NHL, NBA, arena football sunday through wednesday. NCAA Sweet 16 in LA on Thursday. Then all the Wrestlemania stuff in San Fran area Friday through Sunday.

Kind of waiting to see what indy wrestling there is that weekend.
