I am not sure I can do better, but I would make it a tag match Hogan and Cena vs Punk and Austin since Hogan and Austin should not be in the ring long if not at all.
This scenario makes perfect sense. Imagine also if Orton beats Rollins clean earlier in the night, before the cash in. This legitimately gives a babyface Orton reason to chase after a heel Rollins.
If WWE played it correctly they could let Bryan/Orton resume their feud for no.1 contendership positioning, but this time as two faces. Crowd would eat this shit up, it practically books itself.
Re: What do you think the Main Event for WrestleMania 31 will be?
Guess there's two threads on this so I'll repost here. I have to say of the 3 options, I think I like option 3 the best. If it's Rock's final match I don't think it would be against Lesnar, I think it would be putting over his cousin, Roman Reigns. Anyway, I could see either of these:
- Cena vs. Undertaker
- Punk vs. Bryan(c) - WWEWHC
- Lesnar vs. The Rock
- Triple H vs. Reigns
- Cena(c) vs. Reigns - WWEWHC
- Lesnar vs. The Rock
- Undertaker vs. Sting
- Punk vs. Bryan
- Cena vs. Undertaker
- Lesnar vs. Bryan(c) - WWEWHC
- The Rock vs. Reigns
- Triple H vs. Sting
The tag division is a disaster right now. Goldust said he is done wrestling after Summerslam. Real Americans will split sooner then later. Shield won't last another year. Los Matadores are a joke. Rybaxel has nothing going for it. Usos are the only legitimate tag team. I don't even think a tag title match makes the card next year. If I am making a card without Punk then it would like about the same. Maybe shift Ziggler into the HHH match or something.
I'm of the view that whoever Beats Lesnar first needs to do it definitively & at WrestleMania next year. Hell, maybe even have another top star job to Lesnar at 31, building him up for another year, with him going into Mania-32 undefeated. Two years could be pushing it though.
Bryan/Punk
Rock/Brock (Secnario A), if Rock doesn't do it, then Cesaro/Lesnar
Cena/Reigns
Wyatts/Evolution
Ambrose/Rollins
Jericho/Barrett or Cesaro, (Jericho/Cesaro is A, Jericho/Barrett is B)
Battle Royal (Cody)
Paige/AJ
IF Taker believes he can get a 10-15 match from his body... Taker/Sting (Doesn't need "The Streak" IMO)
GOAT.
I predict that I will probably be in attendance since it's in my vicinity and I predict that it will probably be underwhelming but with some fleetingly enjoyable segments.

So here's my ideal WM 31 card. I could get into the storylines and builup leading to Wrestlemania but for all purposes here I posted the matches themselves.
I think the matches look quite solid and it looks like a damn good WrestleMania in my opinion. Feel free to discuss and be honest if interested, just please don't be an a-hole about it lol. I'm already expecting a shitstorm for the Reigns v. Cena match but hey, haters gonna hate.

This card has the potential to be amazing! Here's what I would like to see:
WWE World Heavyweight Championship
Brock Lesnar (c) w/ Paul Heyman vs. The Rock
A great draw for a main event. Have Rock win and then lose to Rollins via MITB cash in the next night on RAW.
Roman Reigns vs. John Cena
This will get Reigns over as don't think he'll be ready to be the man at WM31, have him go over Cena to start the push for him to replace Cena as the new face of the company. At least this way Reigns should get cheered as well.
Seth Rollins vs. Daniel Bryan
Will be a great match, having Bryan win will put him in title contention once Rollins becomes champ post-WM and will keep his popularity high.
Dean Ambrose vs. Triple H - No DQ
A flat out brawl with HHH putting Ambrose over, Ambrose is becoming somewhat of an "anything goes" specialist so No DQ would make this very entertaining.
Sting vs. Undertaker
A double retirement match. Have both leave together for the last time after a close fought match with Taker regaining some pride after dropping the streak this year.
AJ Lee vs. Stephanie McMahon
It's been teased a couple of time and I would love for it to happen. Stephanie has never had a Mania match either so it's about time that was rectified.
Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton
Orton turns face in the next couple of months and takes on Bray Wyatt at Mania. Would be a great story and match if Orton reverts to his psychotic Viper gimmick to battle the deranged Wyatt.
United States Championship
Rusev (c) w/ Lana vs. Kurt Angle
Maybe a long shot as WWE doesn't seem keen on bringing Angle back but would be the perfect end to Rusev's streak. Have him win the US Title soon to gain even more heat, then have the Olympic Gold Medalist return and take it back for the USA, it's too much of a perfect ending not to happen!
Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal
Winner Cesaro
Have everyone else thrown in here, have Cesaro win again to restart the push that seemed so promising coming out of Mania 30.
Intercontinental Championship Match
Dolph Ziggler (c) vs. Bad News Barrett
A nice match to kick off the show, Barrett wins and regains the belt he never lost.
Pre-Show:
Fatal Four Way Elimination Match for the WWE Tag Team Championship
Gold & Stardust (c) vs. The Ascension vs. The Uso's vs. Big E & Kofi Kingston.
Jim Ross explains why Stone Cold Steve Austin is not returning to the ring anytime soon and the reasons he is training hard these days:
"Talked with Steve Austin, whose podcasts on @PodcastOne are killing it, on Monday night and was kidding him about him ‘training for a comeback,’ which most fans thought meant Steve was returning to the ring, and, subsequently, ‘taking a bigger role within WWE in 2015.’ I jokingly asked Austin that if he was going to be taking a bigger role if he could get a brother some work because a man’s got to eat! Bottom line is that Steve was talking to a man who used to train with ‘Arnold’ back in the day at the Gold’s Gym in Venice and Steve said he was training to prepare to return to Gold’s Gym to train. They were talking about training, not wrestling, and how working out at Gold’s in Venice wasn’t for everyone. When the fans heard Austin say that he was “training for a comeback” they assumed that he meant to the ring which in turn means WrestleMania 31.
While Steve always keeps an open mind on returning to the ring for one last match, that’s not an immediate goal of his or even on the back burner. If many factors involved in that process were in place, I could theoretically see Steve doing it but the chance that all the stars aligning to his satisfaction are slim plus the window of opportunity as it relates to Father Time is beginning to close as well. Austin would never return to the ring to go through the motions and he would likely need a solid four months of in ring work/training to be in the condition that he would demand of himself to headline a major event like WrestleMania. If I were WWE, I’d more likely look at WM32 in Dallas and begin discussing that sooner than later for the Texas Rattlesnake. That’s merely my personal opinion but selling 100,000 tickets in his home state might interest Steve the most if the money, the opponent and the creative were all on point."
Based on today's reports it seems they are going with rock vs triple and lesnar vs reigns.
