I'm happy for the band, I just don't see how a musical performance gels with the Wyatt's gimmick. The cult leader shouldn't have friends in a band, he's not a character like Triple H or CM Punk.
Also, based on the law of averages, this would suggest that Bray Wyatt is losing, because I don't remember somebody winning at WrestleMania who got a band. Not that I expected him to win but I almost look at it as a potential spoiler. Unfortunate. Oh well, hopefully if it happens, they don't stop pushing him afterwards.
I believe this is awesome, not only does it give the band coverage it'll be pretty sweet to see how the Wyatt's theme song is played live. I do however agree with you, there are certain wrestlers who heel or not can have a band play and not look bad on them. With the Wyatt's it's a different story, the gimmick they have doesn't work well with having a band play their song live on their entrance, the whole dark, creepy and weird thing should just be left to a normal entrance maybe with a few side effects e.g. smoke, darkness etc.
I think that you people forgot that WWE and WrestleMania is ENTERTAINMENT. It's not 1987 anymore when heel characters were protected.
While I agree with you, I think it's best to protect those almost rare characters that don't fit in with the rest of the roster.
Would it have made sense for some dude on an organ playing on stage for the Undertaker's entrance, before he was humanized in 2000? That's how I'm viewing this. Back woods, deranged cult leader having a professional band play for him. It seems odd, IMO.
Re: Bray Wyatt's Theme Being Played Live By Mark Crozer At Mania
People are taking these way too serious. Like the guy said, Wrestlemania is sports entertainment now. I think its a great idea. They need to do something to make Bray Wyatt look legit on the granddaddy against Cena
