Default Calculating Royal Rumble matches' strength (need your help)

I've had this idea to evaluate the yearly rosters and how strong a certain Royal Rumble match was based on who was involved in it. The point is to find out which Rumble match has the best roster and in which years the roster was strongest.

This is the scoring system:

0 points- Meaningless wrestlers (Daniel Puder, Kenzo Suzuki, Miz in 2007)
1 points- Jobbers with some popularity (Zack Ryder currently, Primetime Players)
2 points- Midcarders who are not over and lesser legends (Wade Barrett, The Miz, The Godfather)
3 points- Over midcarders, legends (Kofi Kingston, Goldust, Diesel)
4 points- Strong upper midcarders and ocasional main eventers (Kane since 2003, Chris Jericho, Sheamus)
6 points- Only for legitimate main-eventers, those guys who WWE trusts to main-event a PPV and that are always involved in the most important feuds. (John Cena, Randy Orton, current CM Punk)

Remember that this is almost completely based on kayfabe status not your personal preference though there are some cases that should be exceptions (Alberto del Rio in 2011 doesn't get 6 points even though he was always heavily featured in the main events, because he was not over as his place in the card suggested). Someone like Santino would get 3 points because even though he's basically a jobber and loses most of the matches he always gets a big pop and is very over.

It's also important to remember that we're rating the wrestler at that precise moment in time, not what they've become, so CM Punk in 2007 is a 2, , not a 4 or a 6, and Khali in 2007 is a 4, not a 1 or 2.

After every wrestler is rated we must calculate the average. Overall points divided by the number of participants (60/30, 80/40)

I've already calculated the scores for the last two Rumbles. I need your help to calculate the averages for old Rumble matches and those that happened while I wasn't watching WWE so I can't make a fair assessment of how over someone was at that point.

Here are the results

2012 Royal Rumble Match

1- The Miz (3)
2- Alex Riley (0)
3- R-Truth (2)
4- Cody Rhodes (3)
5- Justin Gabriel (1)

8- Ricardo Rodriguez (1)
9- Santino Marella (3)
10- Epico (1)

21- Kharma (2)
22- Sheamus (4)
23- Road Dogg (2)
24- Jey Uso (0)
25- Jack Swagger (2)
26- Wade Barrett (2)
27- David Otunga (0)
28- Randy Orton (6)
29- Chris Jericho (6)
30- Big Show (4)

Total: 60
Average rating: 60/30= 2

2013 Royal Rumble Match

10- Heath Slater (1)
11- Sheamus (4)
12- Tensai (1)
13- Brodus Clay (1)
14- Rey Mysterio (4)
15- Darren Young (1)

21- Daniel Bryan (3)
22- Antonio Cesaro (2)
23- The Great Khali (1)
24- Kane (4)
25- Zack Ryder (1)
26- Randy Orton (6)
27- Jinder Mahal (1)
28- The Miz (2)
29- Sin Cara (1)
30- Ryback (4)

Total score: 69
Average: 69/30= 2.3

This means the 2012 match was weaker than the 2013, which is true, but not by much.

It will be fun to find out if there is indeed a huge discrepancy in talent from the Attitude Era to the current product so please join in and post your results.

Sounds like a lot of work man. I'll do 2002 for you as it's one of my favourites.

2002 Royal Rumble Match

Rikishi (3)
Goldust (3)
Bradshaw (2)
Lance Storm (1)
Al Snow (2)
Billy (2)
The Undertaker (6)
Matt Hardy (3)
Jeff Hardy (3)
Maven (0)
Scotty 2 Hotty (1)
Christian (3)
Diamond Dallas Page (2)
Chuck (2)
The Godfather (2)
Albert (1)
Perry Saturn (1)
Steve Austin (6)
Val Venis (1)
Test (2)
Triple H (6)
The Hurricane (1)
Faarooq (2)
Mr. Perfect (3)
Kurt Angle (4)
Big Show (4)
Kane (3)
Rob Van Dam (3)
Booker T (4)

Total Score: 75
Average Score: 75/30 = 2.5

EDIT: Sorry I keep changing it but I keep forgetting how over guys were at the time. Booker T and Big Show were in big stories through 2001 and Booker was still pretty fresh off of WCW, and then guys like Val Venis/Perry Saturn I originally put as 2's, but I can't really name a feud they'd had by this point and Val didn't have his authority role until later on.

2.46... Nice. I'd give Mr. Perfect a 4 instead of 3 but agreed on everything else.

The intention of the thread is for other people to do the other years until we have all of them.

I'll do 2005 next.
