Re: Official Hall Of Fame 2014 Discussion Thread

I'm still hoping Demolition will be given the tag-team induction if they do one this year.

This, I loved Warrior as a kid but looking back, I can't really be doing watching him most of the time, specially his promo's anyway lol ... but even then, he's never actually been involved in a terrible match, in fact some of the greatest matches he's been involved in, Wrestlemania VII for example against Savage.

I also hope they induct Bulldog & Rude at least this year if they won't go with Savage with all that stuff with Lanny and Randy wanting his family inducted with him I don't blame him for not wanting anything to do with it and going against his brothers wishes if they were truly his we'll never know.
Totally agree with Bulldog and Rude, Rick Martel, Demolition, Big Boss Man, Jacques Rougeau, all worthy in my opinion!

I'm pretty sure Mr T has refused before, I know Roddy Piper didn't like him behind the scene's lol

I'm not sure he's ready to go in yet, I mean he 100% deserves it but how well has he been doing with getting himself sorted out recently? .... I think it's a good incentive to keep himself sorted out before inducting him into the Hall Of Fame .... then hopefully next year, that said, if he was inducted this year, it would be pretty damn cool I have to say!

They'll probably do Jericho when he hangs up his boots for good! No rush for Y2J yet, plenty of time but he's cemented in it for sure

Re: Official Hall Of Fame 2014 Discussion Thread

Wow to say we would see this day. I remember people talking here few years back and saying he will never get inducted because he has this ego issues and he is not on good terms with Vince and so on.

But now Vince will do whats best for business it seems. New warrior DVD will be made also and this time haha everyone who where trash talking him will kiss his ass. It will be overall fun thing to watch and compare.

Also I can't wait for all the chit chatter once he arrives into HOF ceremony. And everyone he will talk to backstage....also all the interviews that will follow this will be interesting to watch. I kinda like this development.

Also he might even make an appearence...back in WWE after years of grudges towards Vince and his company.

I honestly don't think that any of his original fans ever lost faith in his fight against the WWE. There are no winners/losers in a game of turd-tossing, but it's really cool to see Vince continue to bury the hatchets with his older superstars.

The most over guy in the WWE embodies the Warrior's intensity and even uses his crazy head-bob in the ring. Plus Big E has already used a variation of Warrior's gorilla press and full body splash as well so it's not like the Warrior's impact on the WWE is minimal like many people claimed after the DVD came out.

It's been slow going in many cases, but it's definitely a welcome sight.

Hopefully whatever the big thing against Macho Man is will be laid to rest soon as well and he'll be in the HOF with Ms. Elizabeth before Vince finally retires. If the Steph/Savage rumour is true though, I don't see it happening as long as HHH as some say in it.

But of course. Though I have to admit, I'm looking forward to the DVD as much as seeing him in WWE after 18 full years. The spotlight will be on him throughout RTWM and all the press will be awesome.

Re: Official Hall Of Fame 2014 Discussion Thread

There will probably be at least one or two Mid South guys that get in -- Jake may be one, but I'm thinking maybe the Freebirds, Bill Watts, or Dr. Death. Other possibilities are Danny Hodge, Paul Bearer, and Ivan Koloff.
