Re: John Cena (WHC) vs. Randy Orton (WWE Champion) - TLC MATCH FOR BOTH TITLES

Its not really a draw because Orton gets downgraded to World Title, but its a draw in the sense that there's no actual winner or loser. Ehhh... but if WWE is supposed to be 'fun' and 'sports entertainment', when booking a ppv with the idea that people are spending cash to see title unification, why book the worst possible ending? I don't get this company. Hopefully, they realize everyone is onto their oh so clever finish and change plans. Just have Cena win, cut the cord on Orton.

Re: John Cena (WHC) vs. Randy Orton (WWE Champion) - TLC MATCH FOR BOTH TITLES

This match could very well lead to...

Cena vs Taker

DB vs HHH or Punk vs HHH

Orton vs Punk or DB vs Orton

Depends if they want Brock to face a face Ryback or a returning Sheamus, which I would absolutely love to see.

Fuck, wonder if we could get a Jericho vs RVD maybe, or someone fresh. MANIA could be on some serious steroids if done right.

Re: John Cena (WHC) vs. Randy Orton (WWE Champion) - TLC MATCH FOR BOTH TITLES

I don't know why people keep saying they're going to swap belts...nothing is gained from that and would completely defeat the purpose of them hyping this match the way they are. The idea of a "unification" has been purposely avoided at all costs by WWE for over 10 years and they would not be bringing it up if they didn't have intentions of actually going through with it.

Cena is going over and then is either holding the belt until Wrestlemania or dropping it before and getting into a program involving Triple H/Vince or is going to finally challenge The Streak. Either way, Cena is walking out of TLC the Undisputed Champion.

And NO, he's not turning heel to win, so people can shut up about that too.

WWE probably wants the a face to walk out with the undisputed championship as the big payoff to all this. That's why I strongly think Orton will win. And maybe DB or Punk will face him for it... or Sheamus many possibilities. you know?

Cena vs DB 2 is probably still a possibility too.

Agree with those who foresee a non definitive finish. I fully expect both to grab each other's belt and prolonging this until at least RR. Unfortunately it seems that in recent times, the company only books stipulations in order to creatively find a loophole that means nothing is resolved within the storyline.

I think a lot are saying it because there hasn't been a non screwy PPV finish since before Summerslam now. We're accustomed to not seeing a payoff in the big title matches, and I wouldn't be shocked to not see one now either. Along with a lot of people, I could see them both climbing the ladder and both taking down one title, ending the PPV in confusion as to who the champion is.

It seems strange that they would do something as big as to unify the two titles at a B PPV like TLC. I could see them furthering it and doing it properly at the Royal Rumble where they would then have a royal rumble winner who knew what title they were going after.

Marking for: John Morrison, Randy Orton, CM Punk, Sheamus, Dolph Ziggler, Cody Rhodes and Jack Swagger.

People keep saying this yet they keep forgetting this is the same company who had a unification match(es) at a B-level ppv: Vengeance 2001.

Re: John Cena (WHC) vs. Randy Orton (WWE Champion) - TLC MATCH FOR BOTH TITLES

Either way Cena vs Orton is closing TLC as well as RR. If there's a screwy finish, with each guy grabbing the other's belt, they will have the proper unification at the Rumble. If there is a definitive finish, then the loser gets his rematch at the Rumble. So in both ppvs, it will be the same main event.

Why I think there will be a screwy finish other than TLC being a B-PPV is because "unification" hasn't been mentioned. It could simply mean the winner holds both championships. So, if someone wins definitively at TLC, he'd hold both the belts but there would be no storyline explanation for unifying them.

If they swap it though, they can face off again at the Rumble in a winner take all, title unification match where they have enough time to build it. And then, the Rumble winner faces the Undisputed Champion at Mania.
