I still think it's better than WM 29.

HHH/Taker was better than any match at 29. 27 also had a better undercard with Punk/Orton, Edge/Del Rio, and Rhodes/Mysterio all Solid matches.

HHH/Taker > Punk/Taker

Punk/Orton > Shield/Sheamus/Orton/Show

Edge/Del Rio > Swagger/Del Rio

Mysterio/Rhodes > Jericho/Fandago

So, WM 27 > WM 29.

Oh, shit I forgot about HHH/Taker. Silly me.

I found the match OK. Nothing special, in my eyes. But it was notable in the shitty PPV that was WM 27.

Actually just thinking about it, WM 29 was WAY WORSE.

Henry/Ryback was pathetic as well.

WM 29 was way too predictable. The three main events, with the exception of Punk VS Taker, fell flat, and were very uneventful. All the same any smark could predict when Cena won the Rumble and Lesnar returned closely following the Rumble.

Ziggler's match, Shield's match, and Jericho's match were fine, and Punk's match was great, IMO, but there was no twist, nothing suspenseful, nothing grand about the PPV.

While I would say it isn't the worst WrestleMania of all time (8, 9 and 11 were much worse IMO) it would definitely be the worst Mania in recent memory. The only things really saving it from being the worst ever were the high quality matches between Cody Rhodes/Rey Mysterio, Randy Orton/CM Punk and Undertaker/Triple H.

As for the rest of the event, Alberto Del Rio vs Edge was disappointing and when Edge won after the first spear it left me thinking 'that's it?'. The match could have been a lot more than it was. The Corre got buried in a pointless 5 minute match where the only thing good part was how brilliantly Heath Slater sold the KO Punch. Michael Cole vs Jerry Lawler is pretty self explanatory. I'm sure everyone who watched it remembers how bad that was. The mixed Tag match with Snooki was only just barely better but was still terrible and a waste of the talents of John Morrison and Dolph Ziggler. The WWE Title Main Event between between Miz and Cena was one of the only matches I can remember having very low expectations for and the match turned out be even worse. In the end the horrible match was basically a prop to build up Wrestlemania 28's Rock/Cena.

Had some good names on the card. Rock pretty much sold the event, doubt Miz would be in the ME if he wasn't there. I still believe if MANIA 29 wasn't so predictable, people wouldn't be calling it worse than mania 27.

Rey vs Cody was very solid thou, can't lie. And they had a very good one at ER as well. enjoyed the heck out of that feud.

-A world title match opening the show.
-The Royal Rumble winner losing that said match.
-Backstage crap which had nothing to do with the product
-Lawler vs Cole
-Morrison being wasted
-Arguably the worst Mania main event of all time featuring the Miz.

Worst since XI.

I enjoyed 27, it could be cause I was there in person but I loved it and had a great time.

The build to WM27 was amazing though... Especially the go home show: Austin, Rock, Cena, HBK, HHH, Taker, Punk, Orton, E&C all on one episode of RAW..
