Since Shane's return and his promos scripted to real scenarios, I had a feeling WWE finally going outside PG radar. Already a couple of interesting and enjoyable RAWs imo.
I think Payback PPV is going to make me 100% believe change is indeed happening. If this PPV surprise and entertains us then Yes Yes Yes!
but if its the same old, expecting some good but always getting disappointed in the end then I've been played along with my fellow fans.
The Main Event have to be, Must be a classic match. I expect all out brawl, interference, Authority, Shane all to involve in it.
lol, Reigns has been beating up Bullet Club on his own and the AJ hits him with like 1 move which he barely solds, expect Reigns to beat AJ after interference by both Usos and BC.
You seriously believe a stubborn old fart like Vince will ever stop being so stubborn? Of course not. He's still in charge and he still has his philosophy and he'll still try to enforce that philosophy. Nothing is changing as long as Vince is in the company.
We might get a new stable somewhere along the line but it'll probably be booked to look weak as hell. End of the day, Vince is still running things, that's what matters sadly.
Haven't watched RAW at all since WM, but might check out Payback. Some have suggested only watching the monthly PPVS and nothing else, to make for a more enjoyable viewing experience. I'm not going in with high expectations, so at least I won't be terribly let down if it's a bust. KO/Zayn, Jericho/Ambrose are certain to deliver and we might even be surprised by Reigns/Styles. Just don't expect AJ to walk out as champ :lol
Their "change" is illusory at best. They would love to con the fans into thinking things shall be different, but it's not sincere. It's no way, but Vince's way.
Oh wait, i forgot people still cling to ratings like it's 98, never mention DVR, YouTube, Hulu views and never look at their ad revenues and quarter reports :booklel
Are you seriously trying to suggest that this storyline is at the root of any real changes? lol
The changes happening are not due to Shane or this storyline. There are a few changes, most positive, but nothing more than a spark to get the smarks and real wrestling fans something to eat after a terrible, god awful wrestlemania.
Only change will be who ever leads bullet club as top heels. Expect the authority to eventually start pimping them like rollins, steph probably slaps them around too
I only believe change is here when both reigns or cena stop being supermen, 50/50 ends or vince leaves
Change could have been made at any point in the last 8 years, with bad or great roster.
But some people will never change.
The biggest problem is Vince not having knowledge on what's going on outside of WWE, wrestlers coming in and their history. He just takes a look at them and either goes underdog nice person or evil foreigner/ evil big guy. You have to know who people are and use their uniqueness as an advantage.
I hope that some change is coming. I don't want Attitude Era stuff again just something that would make the product look good again on a consistent basis.
Payback didn't change Cesaro's treatment, the 2 restarts to the ME were both in AJ's favour but were of no consequence of a Title change and idk wth that ending was between Charlotte/Nattie? The commentators try palm it off as a modern day Montreal screwjob but that was low. KO was the only positive outcome at Payback even Ambrose/Jericho was too blatant especially the start of their match.
So change is coming/happening. Really enjoyed the PPV. Pre Show was so much better, hope they stop putting Ryback/Kalisto in pre shows now :ann1
