Is it worth Ziggler winning the WHC?

This isn't me hating on Dolph, I like the guy and think he has loads of talent. But will anyone actually buy him as world heavyweight champion? Every time he goes into a big match, you're 99% sure he'll lose. He's nowhere near credible enough to be the World Heavyweight Champion in my opinion. And if anything, if he wins the title he'll probably lose the title to Del Rio again in a month or two then go back into obscurity.

Another route that the WWE could take is to have Ziggler cash in, only for Del Rio to steal the win. At this point, AJ and Big E could turn on the despondent Dolph, and it is discovered that AJ and Big E have been banging all along, with Ziggler getting sympathy from the crowd and then turning face. Ziggler and Langston could have a good feud based off this, and a powerhouse like Big E could make Ziggler look like a real underdog face, especially considering Dolph's selling.

After this feud, Ziggler could work his way back up from rock bottom all the way to the top of the mountain, this time without any shortcuts or distractions (e.g. Vickie, AJ, Big E) and later down the line Ziggler can win the title off a big heel (e.g. heel Orton)

Long story short, is there really much point in just making Ziggler the WHC, considering that the WWE will probably still not make him look that credible and drop the title in a short space of time? Or would it be more beneficial to go a different route with his character? Right now he is not looking like WHC material (in kayfabe terms, of course)

I guess so, but then again I could care less about the WHC. He has to win it at this point. I have no idea what they can do with him if he doesn't and there's a chance it could ruin him. He would need the push of a lifetime if that happened.

There are precious few things worth such a terrible price.

It's not really worth it. It's not that I won't buy him as credible. It's that I can't buy that his spot in the pecking order is actually going to change once he DOES become champion.

He's still going to be treated like "just another guy" on RAW, and he still won't get to main event a PPV. The only reason that he and Cena main evented TLC was because of Punk getting injured, and the only reason he went over Cena is because Cena's above the WHC.

Well, that SHOULD be the idea. The reason it's so far into the ground is because people booked like Ziggler win it.

Don't be surprised if Ziggler tries to cash in and ends up losing somehow still. The problem is, Ziggler's been buried and the feud with Swagger is about as good as it's going to get for the WHC, throwing Ziggler into the mix right now would only complicate things, but on the same token he's got to cash it in pretty soon.

The title means nothing especially when its going to be cashed in on.

Dolph will bring some credibility back to this title.

Sure, why not? He's already been a mid card champion before so why should this time be any different?
