Re: LMAO if Henry loses the Weight Lifting Contest this Friday
I didn't watch this yet because I'd rather see it on tv. . .as it's one of the very few interesting things that has even happened in WWE not including Brock or Rock in like a friggin year.
That said, let's discuss the facts before we really get our panties in a twist over this.
1: Mark Henry is MUCH older now than when he was in the World's Strongest Man competition. That was back in the mid 90's. Many posters on here weren't even born yet. He isn't as strong as he used to be since he isn't actively training for it like he was back then.
2: Ryback isn't exactly a bitch. He's probably stronger than everyone else on the roster with the exception of Mark Henry, Brock Lesnar, and possibly Big Show.
3: It's a television program that isn't supposed to be always realistic. You can't seriously be bitching about this and not about far more unrealistic stuff like CM Punk knocking The Rock over repeatedly with shoulder blocks when Rock is nearly 100 lbs heavier and twice as strong, and also not getting easily overpowered by John Cena when they lock up when Cena is nearly twice as strong as he is too.
Because of all that, I wouldn't be pissed if they booked Ryback to beat Mark Henry by 5-15 lbs or something. Yes, Mark Henry is probably still stronger than Ryback, but it isn't like they're putting someone who's half as strong as Henry over him. It would at least be somewhat close in reality, so it's acceptable to me if that's the outcome. Definitely not a travesty, unlike putting someone like Health Slater over him in a weightlifting contest, which we could rightly bitch about. This? Not bitch worthy imo.
