The MITB WHC title shot
I realize we have had plenty of conversation about this matter, but I think the WWE could provide a solid story to this angle if played out properly. We all wonder when Dolph will cash in? It's almost as if the MITB title shot has loss all it's credibility, or it seems as though many of us just forgot about it. Either way I think a solid solution would be to turn this angle upside down. Langston turning heel on both Dolph/AJ, and then taking the MITB contract. Langston destroys AJ, and Dolph in the ring like rag dolls. Have them both taken off in an ambulance severely injured.
The following week out comes David Otunga. He explains that his client has done nothing wrong, and made a verbal commitment with Ziggler, and AJ that his efforts will be rewarded on his terms. His "efforts" are protecting them. Otunga says that Langston was informed by an unknown source that the MITB contract had not been signed yet. Other MITB contract winners have come out, and said that it has to be a former MITB winner because only the winner knows that the contract has not been signed by anyone. The person who leaked the information would eventually be revealed as CM Punk. Obviously, as a heel it makes sense, and Punk's history with AJ did not end well.
Punk spoils Dolph's moment by telling Langston that there is nothing stopping him from taking that title shot. Langston goes out, and hires Otunga as his attorney. Vickie has no problem with Dolph losing his title shot at all, and is elated that AJ, and he are in the hospital. This leads to an eventual "face" turn by Ziggler. His road to recovery is slow, but he comes back with a huge chip on his shoulder. Once Langston decides to cash in on whomever is WHC Ziggler would be there, but not to spoil it. He would be in the crowd watching it all go down. Once Langston wins the belt Ziggler comes from crowd, and attacks Langston with the steel chair he was sitting on, perhaps his own WM 29 steel chair? Ziggler owns the newly crowned WHC, and tells him that his title shot is next. Making Langston a transitional champion, and then Ziggler wins the title. The story is that Ziggler gets his title shot taken from him, and his respect. He gets all that back, plus a title.
