Del Rio and mic skills don't belong together.

Any wrestler worth their salt should be constantly striving to improve their ability to self promote.

Re: Alberto Del Rio trying to improve on the mic

I noticed Del Rio's english had improved, especially this Friday. The guy's working hard to improve, and it's working. I can do nothing but tip my hat to him.

I saw him cut a face promo when he was still heel back in October at nxt when him, ricardo and del rio`s brother teamed up. People should check that out. I thought it was good
you actually rolled on the floor laughing until your ass came off? tgirl

Yeah he's improving. He's still pretty terrible but this face turn has done him alot of good. He still overshadowed by Ricardo's mic work but he'll get better.

Now if he can tell that secret to others backstage
we'll get a better product.

He's always been excellent on the mic. It's the content which has been awful.

Considering only Rock, Cena, Punk, Bryan, Jericho and arguably Ziggler are better I don't see how Del Rio's mic skills are terrible. Its either black or white with people on this board what about the gray areas? We have a large locker room people who can't speak or never does so surely Del Rio is up there. Look at Sheamus? He's horrible and Del Rio is far better than someone who is supposed to be a major star in WWE. Mysterio, Jeff Hardy, and Chris Benoit were perfect examples of guys who can't talk for crap and were popular. Even if Del Rio is bad on mic as you say surely he can get a break for his great in ring ability and great marketable look.

I always thought Chris Benoit was underrated on the microphone, he wasn’t great but just good enough to get his point across with intensity.
