Cody vs. Goldust?

It was literally one of the few moments of the rumble which I enjoyed. Their confrontation actually had some edge and realness to it which felt great. Am I the only one who wants to see this fleshed out once Rhodes Scholars are done? Retirement match perhaps?

I wouldn't mind a Cody vs Goldust feud. I think a darker, bitter, and resentful Goldust is exactly what Cody needs to get the fans behind him. Dustin Runnels is such a smart guy, that I feel he can pull this sadistic, jealous, older brother who never won the WHC, or WWE title. Their whole feud could be that Goldust knows he will be the only one of the 3 their father included that has never held a world title. Thus, pushing the idea that Cody will one day win a WHC. I think brother vs brother feuds are great, and I wouldn't mind this.

Re: Cody vs. Goldust?

Cody vs Goldust should have happened at WM 28. It would have been an amazing, show-stealing Miami Street Fight match between two great competitors TWO BROTHERS, but NOOOO! We got Big Show capturing the IC title and completely killing Cody's push

I thought Goldust was face and Cody heel.

Goldust makes a better antagonists though. Look back at his feud with Piper. He is the better heel.

To be fair they could still run the storyline with Goldust as the face. The storyline suggested would be Cody's argument against Goldust. But a feud between the 2 would definitely be good to see. Last year was the perfect time for it though.

At first I thought Cody vs. Goldust wasn't Mania worthy. Then you made it so.
Think of the inner turmoil for this WWE Hall of Famer. He could choose the arguably more successful mustachio son or his elder son that has carried on more of his likeness.

Spoiler for Just to be safe, spoiler for Cody/Goldust at RR:
