Re: Should Daniel Bryan be pushed as the top guy on Smackdown after WM29?
As a babyface? Sure, why the hell not. As a heel? Absolutely not, he is a TERRIBLE heel.
I have never been as completely uninterested in a main event heel than I was in Bryan during his run early this year, his horrible character coupled with his super marks on here that were SURE he was winning at Mania' made that period unbearable.
If he slightly alters his character (maybe a bit more serious) and trims his hair and beard a bit, he'd be great as top Smackdown babyface. He's a lot more entertaining than Sheamus, RYBACK & Orton anyway. They should have him start embracing the YES chants again too, shit'd be super over if he did.
I realise where they're going and that WWE will push Roman Reigns straight to the top. However for me, Dean Ambrose is by far the most talented in that group and I think eventually if they just give him the spotlight then he's going to shine. As soon as he touches a mic everyone else can just sit down as he's magic on it. So It remains to be seen, I think they're all talented but to me Dean was the star of that group. I think Roman looks like the star of that group but I don't think he's nearly as talented as Dean.
