I've never read a thread in which everyone's opinion was wrong.

Clearly the answer is to give him both titles...:bryan

Now? No, but look at Ziggler six months ago, he was a guy who teamed with Jack Swagger, was being overshadowed by Vickie Guerrero and did consistent jobs to trash like Brodus Clay. The most noteworthy thing about him was him shaking his ass and slicking his hair back. Now with a bit of good booking, he's over as a heel, cutting consistently good promo's on a weekly basis and on the cusp of being a legit main eventer, and he, in my opinion, was in a much worse position than Bryan's in now.

Talent will always prevail in the end and as much as you dislike him you can't deny Daniel Bryan is very talented. I can count the superstars on one hand who work the crowd better than him, he's improved tenfold on the mic, he is a great natural babyface, is very over and I don't even need to comment on his ring work. I would have absolutely no problem with him getting a main event push, just as long as it's as a babyface, he's a BRUTAL heel.

I realise where they're going and that WWE will push Roman Reigns straight to the top. However for me, Dean Ambrose is by far the most talented in that group and I think eventually if they just give him the spotlight then he's going to shine. As soon as he touches a mic everyone else can just sit down as he's magic on it. So It remains to be seen, I think they're all talented but to me Dean was the star of that group. I think Roman looks like the star of that group but I don't think he's nearly as talented as Dean.

All he's doing is screaming "NO! NO! NO!"

All Ryback does is shout "FEED ME MORE!" If it's over, it's over. Having an over catchphrase the crowd can join in with is an incredibly important aspect to pro wrestling, just ask The Rock.

He's a comedy character though, he's not taken serious like Ryback is or The Rock.

If Santino screamed "NO! NO! NO!" what would people think? Exactly.

Santino isn't a former World Champion though. Bryan is a comedy character, yes, but watch his matches, he doesn't work like a comedy character like Santino dpes. By your logic, nobody takes Kane seriously either.

It is possible to be a comedy character and be taken seriously, look at DX.

I don't think anyone takes Kane seriously, either.

It's cool though, a guy made to look like a fool should be WHC/WWE champion, why not?

Re: Should Daniel Bryan be pushed as the top guy on Smackdown after WM29?

Swagger and Khali are former World Champions but can you take them seriously? Because I sure can't, and hell, Khali is a comedy character these days...

Bryan does still do some comedy in his matches, when he kicks his opponent several times in the chest he chants ''NO'' and he'll sometimes tell the crowd to stop chanting ''NO'' at him, it's not to the extent of Santino, but the comedy is there and I can't take him seriously for it.

And no one really takes Kane seriously anymore since he started teaming with Bryan.

Re: Should Daniel Bryan be pushed as the top guy on Smackdown after WM29?

Has everybody forgotten Daniel Bryans matches at the beginning of this year against Sheamus (extreme rules), against CM Punk on PPV and even against Cena during the main event of RAW? Those matches were main event level matches and he looked credible. That is the big difference between Daniel Bryan comedy and Santino comedy. Daniel Bryan ring ability alone is main event level and makes him credible. Lets also not forget Daniel Bryan has submission up his sleeve, where as Santino has a puppet named the cobra as a finisher. If WWE really wanted to they could book Daniel Bryan more like Kurt Angle who was comedy but a threat in the ring with his suplexes and submssions.
