2008 Smackdown was good but give me 2002 or 2003 Smackdown as being the best time post-Attitude era that Smackdown has been.

I say the 2009 period until Undertaker came in and ruined it all. This was supposed to be a time when the roster was very thin, with the likes of Punk who was essentially seen as a mid carder, Jeff Hardy who wasn't proven yet and the show sort of being carried by Edge, who then quickly got injured. A lot of guys really stepped up especially Hardy and Punk and they put on one of the great fueds, which headlined summerslam don't forget. Since then Smackdown has sucked

2008 Smackdown is what made me return to watching wrestling after a hiatus of about 7 years

Good times. I could only watch Smackdown at the time since I didn't have USA.

late 2007/2008 Smackdown was what got me into wrestling (mainly because it was airing in Germany on free-tv). Batista-Edge-Undertaker were the dominant 3 and all 3 were just sick to watch at the time.

Additionally I belong to the minority, who really liked Kozlov's run.

IMO, I've always looked back at that year as really average, mainly due to the fact that my interest in WWE at the time was severely declining.

But compare to later years (with the exception of 2009, of course), I'd say it was rather pretty decent.

Edge/Taker had a great feud, midcarders were actually being pushed prominently compared to today, and Jeff Hardy was on a roll into main event territory with a couple of entertaining matches.

Dude, everyone knows 2002, 2003 and 2009 was where it was at.

2002, 2003, and 2009 were the best. Me being born in 1999 only pretty much remember 2009 and with Punk, Hardy, Edge, and Taker on every week I looked forward to smackdown more than Raw. But now I can barley stand any of them.
