Jimmy Wang Yang was an awesome talent. Charismatic, excellent flashy but solid highflying style and he wasn't short.

Re: Do any of you miss The Brian Kendrick?

Kendrick is a really good wrestler.. Those of you calling him a spot monkey know nothing about wrestling (though people on a wrestling forum not actually understanding the mechanics of wrestling doesn't surprise me in the least.) Him and London are both very proficient. Probably two of the better high flyers ever to be employed by the e, yet they could mat wrestle and tell a story better than half the upper card. Kendrick has wisdom waaaaaay beyond his years where the mental aspect of wrestling comes into play.

Those hating on him being a stoner, how about pulling the stick out of your ass..

TBK was a good gimmick for him because it was basicall them saying "look we're going to put a leather jacket on you and stick you with a big black bodyguard, now go sell it" and he did. Incredible mic work, better on his worst day than someone like Cena is on their best. He comes off natural and real, but also very storyteller.. Just like the greats, Foley, Roberts. He has the ability to start cutting a promo, take it somewhere you never saw coming then bring it home just in time. His stint in TNA kinda proved that for me. The thing I didn't like about the gimmick is they didn't really do anything with it. The writers had this great character and all I ever remember him doing were random matches.

long story short, yeah I miss the hell out of the guy.. It was nice seeing a small guy that actually knew something about wrestling on wwe programming.

Talent/charisma draws. Not size.

I was a huge fan of his 'THE Brian Kendrick' gimmick, just a real shame he basically threw away his chance WWE were giving him

I agree with pretty much everything here but I don't recall anyone regarding him as a spot monkey in this thread? I may have called him a high flyer in my post I'm not sure and if that caused confusion that's my bad. If I did I was merely referring to the fact that as a team L&K were regarded in the E as being a high flying tag team and I certainly wasn't trying to have a go at either's in ring prowess which I hold in very high regard.

Edit:
Yikes! I mentioned the term "generic flying monkeys" in my original post which upon second reading definitely sounds like I was calling them spot monkeys. I was referring to the way they were presented on TV. Sorry for the confusion.

Marking out for:
-Orton, Ziggler, Christian, Punk
-MCMG, Kenny Omega
-CFC - Drogba, Zola, Gudjohnsen, Mata :'(
-Condit, Lytle, Serra, Hendo
-The Wire, Game of Thrones, Arrow, Parks & Rec,
-NYG - Eli, Strahan

On the Bandwagon of:
-Evolution, Ambrose, Rollins
-Weidman, Shad, Mendes, Chandler
-Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Brooklyn 9 9, Suits
-Fury, Froch, GGG, Frampton, Algieri
-LAC - CP3, Griffin

Re: Do any of you miss The Brian Kendrick?

I maintain that "The Kendrick" is one of the best names for a heel finisher ever. I mean, c'mon, he named his fucking finisher after himself. One of those little things that enhanced his character.
