It's Russo like in the sense that it's a swerve, but the difference is that it's a swerve that makes sense. Ziggler leaving the unattractive middle age lady for the hot young lady. Not to mention he makes sure he wins the World title first so that Vickie can't screw him out of winning the World title.

Orton is so fucking boring and Ziggler has zero credibility. Wonderful. I would love to see Barrett, Sandow, repackaged ADR, and a super pushed Gabriel go for the title, but I'm a huge Gabriel mark (despite the awful Rihanna haircut) and realize that won't happen.

I was thinking more in the sense that there isn't too much motivation for Show and Ziggler to tag together. I mean, why would Show be happy to hang aroung the ring with a guy that he's going to be incredibly wary of due to MITB? No way would 'big bad heel Show' be taking orders from Vickie either, that's in relation to her being GM and forcing Show to work with Dolph. I guess it could work with WWE logic.

I must say that I do like the Dolph/AJ swerve. That would be a genuine shock (well, not now I guess) and would get Dolph away from Vickie and into a partnership where he's probably the more skilled mic worker (not saying much I know), thus giving him more promo time and the chance to develop rapidly in that department. The thing is that this would probably put Dolph over as a face immediately due to Rita Repulsa's heat and Cena's mixed reactions. Not sure if that was your intention with that idea, or if you were looking at a slow burning angle?

definitely should be the two going for the world title. Orton is the most over guy on the SD roster and Ziggler is one of the best up and coming potential main event players and is a popular heel. At least these two get reaction unlike Sheamus who got tepid responses as the world champion. The only problem I've got here is much like Daniel Bryan (though not as bad) Ziggler has not been build up very well or credibly since becoming SD MITB. Still a big fan of Ziggler's however.

You're thinking way too much. Think about it, WWE is known for making random heels vs random faces tag team matches. Or combining two separate feuds into a tag match. What do you normally see at the start of Raw? Captions for advertised tag matches later in the evening.

And if 'there have' to be some type of build, it could be "Show wants to knock out Shaemus again", or "Big Show wants to get his revenge for what happened at TLC". Any one of those ideas distracts him from focusing on MITB.

If Ziggler's turning face, that would be the way to go. Whether it's an immediate face turn or slow burn turn.

Yeah, I probably am thinking too much which is something that WWE doesn't like in their audiences, so the story would probably work in that sense which is why I said 'I guess it could work with WWE logic'. Just thinking that if I'm Big Show then there's no way that I'm having Ziggler that close to me during a match. I'm not knocking you because it's a good idea, it's just my perception of the potential angle. You're correct that the big dumb giant could become distracted but I have no faith in WWE to negotiate these types of angles successfully, which again is more about them and not you.

I really think a Ziggler face turn would be worth a try because all of his heat has been absorbed by Vickie so far. The guy is a bumping machine and sells as good as anybody else out there so he has the raw ingredients needed to work matches as a face.

I doubt it tbh. Orton's been booked like dogshit for months. Even lost to Wade Barret twice in 7 days.

The only way Orton gets in is he gets put over Big Show and is forced to job to Ziggler's MITB. Orton might get a rematch. . .then lose. Then he's out of the picture.

That's pretty much the max I see WWE doing with Orton. Just have him win solely for the purpose of jobbing to Ziggler so Big Show and Sheamus don't have to. Then Ziggs gets a shitty, unimpressive heel reign, only to be removed from the picture before WM (Probably at EC).

I understand Orton is popular, but how can they justify putting him near the title? He is unreliable, he is completely unreliable and needs a far longer trial period before he can be rewarded with another title run. What if he gets the title and fails another drug test? The man cannot be trusted.

Their matches are class. I'm all in for it. Hopefully Orton has a run as a heel.

Well Ziggler does have the case, so that's pretty obvious. At this point, anything less than a title reign would kill him. He doesn't need it now, nor should he cash in soon, but it certainly feels like Deja vu again. I just can't see WWE doing anything creative with the belt, although I would have never guessed Big Show would beat Sheamus cleanly for it. I guess that means something.
