No he's not that good, but I do believe he can emulate HBK's career in some ways!!

Re: dolp ziggler is bland

I like him, one of the best in the ring and good on the mic, as he showed last night.

No one gives a shit about half the roster because they aren't really doing anything, storylines are what make people care about others and the only somewhat good storyline he has been put in was against Ryder. So lets not use reaction as a gauge for talent, if that was the case Ryback would be the best in the WWE, correct?

Re: dolp ziggler is bland

they are trying to rehash the early 90's hbk/sherrie thing with dolph and vickie and it isn't working. dolph needs to be alone or with a older male manager.

you are what you love, not who loves you.

Re: Dolph Ziggler is bland

Ziggler needs more individual mic time for me to make a better evaluation whether he's a fitting ME guy or just another midcarder. During his heel segments in Ryders show he's pretty good and he has a unique way of talking (rambling, but still innovative), however he ranges from good to disappointing on RAW or SD whenever he gets the mic. I'd put him into a sink or swim situation by giving him a lot of airtime to develop his persona. If he makes something entertaining out of it I don't see why he shouldn't become one of the top 6 guys in the company, however if he doesn't have the personality to connect to the broader audience I'd put him in the midcard, if that's where he belongs.

Re: Dolph Ziggler is bland

I like Ziggler but yes, he is relatively bland. A good wrestler and okay on the mic but that's about it. As others have said he's basically Billy Gunn, only better in the ring, and I don't think he'll ever be a world champion.

...Well okay he probably will be but that's because WWE's bookers suck and hot potato the titles around. He'll never be a main stay in the main event though I believe. Ziggler will be a great midcarder though.

Re: Dolph Ziggler is bland

I don't have a problem with Ziggler, but he is what he is, or rather what the WWE wants him to be; A great bump machine with a mouthpiece. Can he talk? Yeah, he just isn't great, but neither are a lot of superstars nowadays. Is he bland? To a certain degree, but he isn't involved in too many things other than having a MITB contract. They have made him no threat to cash it in at any time, and that's pretty much what he has to work with; trying to convince the audience he will be WHC. I'll be honest, I can't even buy that myself knowing he will.

Re: dolp ziggler is bland

I agree fully OP. He's not horrible on the mic, not at all, but he's too bland. Same ol' generic crap that you expect from a Heel. "Im the best, i'm the show off, i should be world champion". Generic. \M Punk had abundance of Charisma and the best mic skills in the company, so it worked for him, but it want work someone with average charisma and average mic ablities like Dolph.

Re: Dolph Ziggler is bland

The Billy Gunn rip off just flat out sucks. He has no charisma, his only stand outs is a bleached hair and his over selling which just makes him look like a bitch. I find The Miz more entertaining than this guy and I fucking hate The Miz with a passion.

Re: Dolph Ziggler is bland

Yep. WWE wasted MITB on him. He's a decent wrestler and passable on the mic and that's it. I would of given it to Barret or Cody as they are even better than Dolph in every way.

No kidding, but what do you expect?

Most people on here canīt even seperate between the talent and his on-screen persona, itīs no suprise that many people still see Mr Perfect in him, just because of his hair and the word perfection in his theme 2 years ago.

Iīm starting to believe these people get exactly the kind of product they deserve.

meh
