You missed Cesaro's vignette before his match with Kidd.

Claudio/Antonio Cesaro vs. Rey Mysterio is a dream match of mine and has been since before he was Antonio Cesaro. Rey is pretty much the best high flyer that I've ever seen and nobody works better with them than Cesaro. Realistically that won't be happening but it would make for some incredible matches and it's a personal dream match of mine.

Re: Who should face Cesaro for the US championship next?

I agree with a lot of the suggestions here.

Swagger could work. The "All American American" wants the US title off the waste of the very european guy. The story pretty much writes itself. It is a cheap basis for a fued, but it's better than the usual "I'm better than you" garbage which I just can't stand anymore. We need more grudges and motivations.

Sin Cara or Mysterio would be nice too. Though Sin Cara probably needs fueds he can go over in, and Cesaro would have to lose for that to work. Which, well, not yet.

R Truth perhaps? He's going solo now and is pretty over as a face.

And there's always Zack Ryder, whom I used to hate on, but man. . .the crowd likes him a lot so it's hard not to be excited for him to win in those underdog style mismatches. He needs a larger moveset and ring skills overall though. So he's not just the new Scotty Too Hotty.

Cesaro's reign has been pretty boring so far. His matches are decent to good but sometimes I forget he's US Champ. He doesn't seem to have good mic skills and he still can't get the crowd to care about him. No reaction at all.

Who is Johnny Curtis? Nobody...just the future of WWE!

Kassius Ohno
Quote:
Cesaro should decide that he will generously offer free autographs to his devoted american fans and invite them into the ring. One unknown fellow is hidden among them and suddendly knocks out Cesaro cold with a freaking elbow strike before to get stopped by the security. He is expelled from the arena screaming about american honor.

Some weeks later we see Kassius Ohno up the ramp with a WWE contract. He explains that he bet up his former friend cause he was desecrating the honor of the US title, insulting USA against Kings of Wrestling values.

He asks for a title match and gets it. Two weeks later during a PPV, the match occures and Cesaro looses the title.

A feud between two old friends is set for during 5 weeks. They reconciliate at the end when Cesaro turns face and when they begin an occasionnal tag team.

As other people have mentioned, it's gotta be Rey. Problem is he only has one feud left in him and it's gonna be with Sin Cara.

Re: Who should face Cesaro for the US championship next?

I get the feeling they may have Cesaro bringing back the European belt, but feuds with some face which culminates with losing the belt and reinstating the US championship belt after a few months of retirement.
