Officials Very High on Cesaro and See Money in him

- WWE officials are very high on United States Champion Antonio Cesaro. WWE feels they will make a lot of money off Cesaro in the future so expect his push to continue.

Some feel that WWE wanted to do right by Cesaro and that's why they hired his girlfriend Sara Del Rey as a developmental trainer.

As I expected with the influx of former ROH talent in the wwe, management seems to have pulled the stick out their asses with the successes of Bryan and Punk and will now value these indy talents as their crown jewels.

Why would they stop the five languages gimmick? It's unique & original, something that not a lot of guys have going for them nowadays. How many people can do that? WWE should push it more, if anything. Just because YOU personally don't like it doesn't mean shit. You're probably not spending any money on WWE anyway & even if a few people from here are spending money on WWE, it's not enough to affect their bottom line.

I don't see money in him, at least not right now. If they think he has something then drop the 5 languages thing and give him some actual promos that show either what ability, or lack of, that he has. So far I'm unimpressed. Obviously he can wrestle just great but so can Tyson Kidd and there's no money in him, personality comes first. That gimmick is dead in the water, nobody cares how many languages you can speak. It's not even heelish, Rey Mysterio is bilingual, so what?

He needs to make some changes.

Drop the 5 languages thing as I said, it's not marketable, it's not a top level gimmick. If they want to do the "very European" thing, I guess that's fine. The anti-American foreigner thing has been done to death, but more so with characters from the Middle East, Russia, Japan, etc.

Swiss Death should be his finisher, not his setup, but his actual finisher on anybody that he can physically throw in the air. If he runs into somebody like Clay, that's when he wins with the Gotch Style Neutralizer, or if he runs into somebody like Big Show who he can't do the Neutralizer on (I would assume), have a 3'rd finisher. Maybe a move off the top rope, maybe a submission, something. I'm sure this will NOT be a difficult task for somebody who's been in ROH.

Finally, he should make a change to his look. Those thigh straps have got to go, they look so stupid. Give him kneepads like he had in FCW for a while.

All of that is drastically going to help his overall image and get people to take him more seriously.

This thread still going? This is how easy it is to make up a fucking story.

Step 1: Analyze the current WWE landscape
Step 2: Make shit up.

Here's my report for the week:

WWE Officials are seriously contemplating releasing Tensai. Reports have indicated that management hasn't been impressed with his work since returning to the WWE and that it's the reason why the downward spiral came for him after losing to Tyson Kidd. Things are not looking any better for Tensai after botching a spot on RAW this past week during his match with Ryback.

The whole foreign heel character will always work in wrestling and the fact that Antonio Cesaro can work the mic and has great in ring skills means in theory he should be successful in WWE if booked right. The only thing i worry about is having Aksana alongside him because i see her as a joke character and she hurts his credibility in my opinion so i'd like to see Antonio Cesaro go alone and be booked more like Kurt Angle was from 2002 onwards as a vicious wrestling machine style heel.

Things that go in his favour with him on SmackDown is the fact that there is no clear top heel on the brand although i would personally see Wade Barrett as the person who would have been had he not been injured earlier in the year. It is clear WWE sees a lot in Antonio Cesaro as they have thrown the US title on him already and if booked well i could realistically see him as a main event heel by this time next year as he has a good look and size, mic skills, great in ring skills and has enough experience to be able to work with anyone and i'd be all for Cena/Cesaro, Orton/Cesaro and Mysterio/Cesaro down the line.

What's funny about that image is Cesaro actually looks like Statham so yes, Really?!? Lol

Also, I think the reason Cesaro is viewed so highly is because they know once they give him some creative freedom and "the ball", so to speak, he'll run with it and never look back. He'll most certainly have the success Bryan/Punk have and they know it!

That's good to know cuz i really like Cesaro, hope he gets a long US Title reign.

Nice to see they're finally given him a proper push instead of the terrible way he was used after his debut. He's the sort of guy that WWE usually love (big, muscular, charismatic and a good talker) so it's not a surprise they're high on him. I think him getting rid of Aksana is a good thing too, since female valets scream 'midcard jobber' to me and he can be so much more than that.

I do agree he needs to scrap the 'word in 5 languages' crap though or at least take it to the next level and just cut a 1-2 minute promo entirely in foreign languages.

Holy shit, DB in your sig looks almost EXACTLY like Cesaro LOL :cool2.

Anyways, Cesaro is growing on me. His entrance music is SICK, his characater look is unique, he's in the kind of shape you see like football or professional rugby players in...which makes sense.

His words in 5 different languages thing is a cool gimmik, in my opinion. When he gave his finisher to Brodus Clay, even holding it and stick his toung out to taunt.... that was impressive. More impressive that Ryback failing to get Tensai his finisher.

Cesaro is a guy that could do a lot..... maybe a feud between him and Swagger would be good?

This shouldn't be too big a surprise at all. Of all the new guys, Cesaro is part of the "big 3" along with Sandow and Ryback as the ones with the most promise. Cesaro is going to be a legit upper midcarder imo. Might not be a bigtime main eventer, but he's gonna be the kinda guy you look forward to seeing when he comes out regardless of his storylines.

I'm pleased with Cesaro so far. He doesn't need a new gimmick, just at least to get mic time saying something else. I don't mind the 5 words thing since he pulls it off well, but that shouldn't be the only thing he says!

Give this guy a fued with some promos, and maybe stick him at the announce table a couple times to talk during a rival's match again to we can get a feeling of his personality. Right now it's like cardboard.

lol.
