Re: Official WWE Main Event Weekly TV Show Discussion

Just watched Sandow's promo and I loved it. Just fucking awesome. Even though I know Sandow has no chance of winning, it does give me a small speck of interest in his and Cena's match next week.

I'm watching you...

Re: Official WWE Main Event Weekly TV Show Discussion

This week was a great episode. Miz/Ziggler was just an awesome TV match and maybe the best of the year (w/ Bryan/Punk series). The pre-match was just as good as the match, I really want to see them "main eventing" Royal Rumble with Ziggler cashing at TLC, feud between them sounds great to me. Gabriel/Barrett was pretty good for what it was. Sandow's promo at the end was fantastic. God I hope he'll win, even with Ziggler's interference, I'm glad now Sandow is signle wrestler again, missed his promos.

Re: Official WWE Main Event Weekly TV Show Discussion

Has to be the strongest overall Main Event I've seen.

Best match to date in Dolph vs Miz, which toppled Sheamus vs Barrett. Barrett vs Gabriel was a really solid squash/showcase. Might not be the freshest match, yet it keeps the momentum in the favorite for Wade in this potential I-C Championship program. Then it ends with another strong promo by Sandow. He's great. Really looking forward to his match with Cena. The end result is insignificant. It's the chance that Sandow has to work with Cena that's promising.

Oh and another strong promo by both Miz & Dolph. Really good start to a really good show.

Hey, I've liked both WWE shows this week. Now to watch Superstars & NXT to see how they fare. Hopefully Smackdown delivers and it can be the most complete week in WWE for me in a few months.

If you watch where Dolph attacks Cena backstage, Dolph targets the hurt knee several times. If it was a legit injury, he probably wouldn't touch it. Just my assessment but it felt like an angle instead of a legit injury. They want Cena to have a weakness going into the match with Ziggler.

Re: Official WWE Main Event Weekly TV Show Discussion

This is the first WWE Main Event I have watched and I was really impressed. Ziggler/Miz was just a brilliant television match, I think these two have some great chemistry. I'm also really surprised they did the video package at the start of the show to hype this match, it shows they are willing to put in the effort even for WWE Main Event which is a good sign. Barrett/Gabriel was a decent match and as Hailsabin said, it keeps Barrett's momentum going during his Intercontinental Title pursuit.

I'll definitely be tuning in next week for Cena/Sandow. If Cena is still selling the injured knee next week then it could be a really interesting match where Sandow focuses heavily on the knee to try and take "Super Cena" out. This is the only thing that is going to stop the match being a complete squash of Sandow, I know Cena will win in the end, but it gives me hope that Sandow might get a decent amount of offensive in and look like a legitimate threat.

Re: Official WWE Main Event Weekly TV Show Discussion

I'm sure it's gonna be a match that will be beneficial for Sandow if done well. It's no different than how his two matches vs Sheamus have been this year. He dominated Sheamus, had good matches, & ate the loss, but left looking like a strong contender. That's the potential he has with Cena. I mean if you're working vs Cena in a non-squash, then you seem to be on the right track within the company.

He only debuted after WrestleMania, so he's got plenty of time to keep developing. This is one solid way to keep him going within the hindrance of stopping Rhodes Scholars.

Re: Official WWE Main Event Weekly TV Show Discussion

Well, it's Main Event so I am expecting a long, back and forth match out of Cena and Sandow.

Watching the full show now. Ziggler/Miz promo is great and loved Ziggler's dig at Matt Striker. Also had to lol at Miz saying he cashed in MITB like a man.

I'm watching you...
