Do you see them lasting very long as a tag team and maybe even winning the tag titles? or are they going to be fed to Kane and Bryan and break up after that?
Tyrion u better be nervous.Look at Drew now, lookat what happened to him after Dashing One`s split.Sandow will be next, and i hope so,because i cant stand him
It's pretty good to see these guys form a team, I'll be looking forward to what these guys have in store for us on SD.
The tag team division is getting better and better. Just look at the division -
Team Hell No
R-Boom
Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio
The Prime Time Players
The Rhodes Scholars (Am I right?)
Epico and Primo
The Usos
Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd
I don't think they are a long term fixture. Its a random team of guys who have nothing to do, but yet WWE doesn't want them to fade into obscurity with no direction, so they are made a tag team. Hell No will probably beat them at HIAC and then the team of Rhodes and Sandow might be done. I for one don't like the pairing of Rhodes and Sandow. They just seem so different. But if it allows them to be on TV then I am all for the temporary pairing.
As cool as this team sounds, it basically seems like Kofi and Truth a couple of months back, WWE had nothing for them and figured the tag team division is always open (it basically is if you can't Primo and Epico, the Uso's and Kidd/ Gabriel as jobbers) and this annoys me. A proper feud at this point would be much better.
Still, yay for the tag team division, this is another, quite good team being a proper team doing real feuds so that's good.
I love this combination. I'm a big fan of both and it's really entertaining and satisfying to see them working as a tag team.
I do hope it'll last, though.
Teaming them was a good idea IMO...Your mid card champs are the Miz and Cesaro...Neither Rhodes or Sandow are feuding for any mid card gold any time soon so why not establish a common friendship between the two and have them work a program with the tag champs.
At least these two will be able create a storyline as to why they are feuding with the tag champs...The only other team that could would be PTP which would simply be a personal vendetta against Kane and Bryan for taking their spot. Who's to say that Rhodes and Sandow couldnt even have a tiny run as champs to highlight the difficulties Kane and Bryan have with each other but then they overcome their differences to recapture the gold whereby Rhodes and Sandow can then go back to solo stuff, but not by way of them breaking up. They can keep their friendship and re-unite or team up every now and then when neither are in a solos program.
In some ways this makes sense. It gives both wrestlers a nice spot against Team Hell No (most sucky name ever) for the tag titles while making the tag divison relevent again.
But on the other hand I'm not too pleased with it. Sandow is getting some good momentum on his own as a heel and I also like Cody as a heel too. I don't agree that one of them is going to have to get buried, in fact I predict a singles title run for both before the year is out.
That only usually happens with what I call real tag teams (Rockers etc). Not two singles competitors thrown together cause 'they have nothing to do right now'.
I don't consider them a legit tag-team, just two thrown together guys to feud with Bryan/Kane. To me at least, a tag team consists of more than one storyline, or until they lose the tag team titles, been done far too often in the past in the WWE and I don't think they are similar enough, nor have enough dynamic to make a good long time tag team, they're both better off as singles guys in the long run imo.
The gawd would rather see Cody start breaking into the main event scene while Sandow continues gettin built up... But I don't feel like this tag team is a bad thing. I doubt they'll be together long enough to give either one of em the title of "tag team wrestler".
I like them as a team, as long as they don't end up being like Ziggler and Swagger and lose every single time, yes. I do see them being successful. I think they have chemistry together.
I'm a bit worried for Cody Rhodes. While it's not a Michaels/Jannetty thing exactly, this tag team probably serves no purpose other than to protect Sandow. Cody is going to eat all the pins so that Sandow never has to lose.
Im digging this team of Rhodes & Sandow they work well together and its helping Sandow get further established and giving Rhodes something to do I just hope once the breakup comes both move onto bigger and better things not just one. As for how long the team will last that will depend on if there being used to make Kane & Bryan work together or there gonna get a solid run with the tag belts and maybe a Rhodes face turn when the breakup happens.

Those are all makeshift tag teams with former world champions in them, every single damn one of those teams. They don't apply. I'm talking about two unestablished acts, not fucking world champion tag teams. If WWE makes a tag team with a world champion or two world champions in them, then they let that philosophy go. If it's two midcarders who've never held the belt, either both of them fail (which obviously won't happen here) or one of them gets a major jump and the other gets buried 6 feet deep.
My argument stands, it always has and it always will, because that's the way WWE books the type of tag team I'm talking about, and they never break from that formula.
No. This whole "Who is the HBK and who is the Jannety" argument needs to stop, both are talented young superstars that will have big roles to play in the companys future.
Anyway, Matthews said on Smackdown that he talked to Rhodes and Sandow before the show and they acknowledged that they weren't a "real tag team" so the whole one guy will become great while the other is doomed for failure won't happen with these two anyway.
I didn't like them coming out to Rhodes music though, with a name like "Rhodes Scholars" Sandow's music would've been more appropriate, although that's probably just my blind bias as I like Sandow more.
The Uso's got FAR too much offence in that match by the way, it should have been a straight up squash.
You're damn right they should have squashed The Uso's. They are being built up to face Daniel Bryan and Kane, two former World Champions and two guys that competed for the WWE Championship a matter of a couple of months ago, two pretty big fucking deals. Who the hell are The Uso's? WWE's resident jobber tag team who've been beaten more often than they've won on NXT, the developmental show.
The Uso's were "killed off" a long long time ago. If I was booking I'd have had Rhodes and Sandow immediately hit their respective finishers on both guys, stacked them on top of eachother, one guy raise his foot on their demolished bodies, then 1..2..3.
If they were facing Rey & Cara or Kofi & Truth or even at a push Ryder and Santino, then yeah, have them sell for a bit, but The Uso's? No chance.
... With the help of outside interference. Kane was about to Chokeslam Sandow and Bryan was about to put the No Lock on Rhodes. Without the outside interference Kane and Bryan would've gotten routine wins.
Anyway, the gap between Rhodes/Sandow and Kane/Bryan is a lot closer than the gap between Rhodes/Sandow and The Uso's, they're literally bottom of the barrel JOBBERS. The Uso's job all the time on flaming NXT to developmental guys.
I could see them breaking up after a DB and Kane feud. Just dont see team Hell No losing the titles so early in their run. Dont know how long the feud would go for.

Don't think they'll lose the belts yet, Rhodes and Sandow are filler as they're both not doing much ATM.
Sandow will be main eventing soon (with the help of HHH) and Rhodes won't be far behind, thats why I'm saying people shouldn't be too worried out them i n this team together. Just enjoy it, they're very entertaining together,
