If Teddy Long loses @Mania, then what happens to Teddy?

It's a pretty safe assumption to say that John Laurinatis will be the GM of both shows... But if Laurinatis takesover Smackdown what's the fate that awaits Teddy.
As we know the fact that he's SD's man is pretty much the only reason that he's featured the way she is now (No offense Alabama/Georgia/Florida), so what's next in Teddy's future:
Is he going to try and seduce Big Johnny?
Will he have a heartwrenching departure from SD?
Or will creative stop to feature him ever again in hopes that we forget?

I'd be more surprised if Teddy Long lost.

Johnny Ace still has a big job to hold down remember as Executive vice... so I really don't see him becoming a permanent character on RAW never mind both shows. His normal Job must be relentless enough never mind having to become a character on screen.

They'll have a rematch at SummerSlam and Team Teddy will win. Then they'll have another match at Survivor Series to finish it off.

I doubt this is the last we've seen of the GM storyline. WWE has invested too much time in it and it's occupied too many Superstars for it just to die down at WrestleMania. For most of the participants, they have nothing else so it makes sense to continue their loyalty to the GMs.

What would be the point? The brands are almost non-existent these days thanks to the super show concept. And RAW is clearly, now more than ever, better than SmackDown.

I think Teddy's Team will lose at WrestleMania and will hopefully retire from the business when Laurinaitis takes over both brands. Teddy's 64 years old and has been the GM of SmackDown since 2004. It's time for him to retire.

I would say let him manage Zeke. Teddy's not an overly great talker, but he's over. He could probably do Zeke a favour in getting the big man over. Then when the time is right, call Saxton or Washington up and have one of them manage Zeke and have him turn heel on Teddy.

Aside from that...Maybe have Lauranitus get a cheap victory at Mania to take control of the brands. Then Long forms a group of superstars as a new invasion style storyline where Long continues to fued with John despite not controlling a brand using a loyal group of supporters.

Lauranitus threatens those loyal to Long with the prospect of losing their job so the group disbands and seemingly Lauranitus has won. But then Teddy recruits a bunch of new superstars (FCW guys) who he has signed to personal contracts who Lauranitus cant threaten with the prospect of losing their jobs.

Would be a good way to call up the likes of Rollins, Cesaro, Ohno, Ambrose. A new (Radicalz esque) faction, which Lauranitus could also sway in his favour with lucrative contracts to either brand and have Ambrose especially betray Long much like The Radicalz did to Mick Foley.

This is a very good idea. Which means creative won't think of it. It would get FCWers into a promiant storyline, set up new feuds with Team Laurinaitis members, and help give everyone an overall push.

He probably becomes John Laurinaitis's assistant or he comes back and turns heel with a new stable.

I'll start my own show, TTFP. Tag Team Federation Playa. Rodney Mack and D'lo are already in, Da Randy Orton is welcome after his third strike. He'll have a screw up gimmick where his tag team partner calls him stupid.

Holla, holla, holla!

I'd like to see him as a referee again. Whenever he ref's a match, have the announcer mention the referee of this bout will be Teddy Looooooong! Then he just waves to the crowd a little bit. Then a superstar's music plays, and as he's coming to the ring for his match, they show Teddy dancing, and having fun with his new role as referee.

:lol

Anything to keep Teddy around in small entertaining doses eh?

I don't really care what he wants to do or will do, just so looooooong as it doesn't involve being a GM. Any other role will do. I'd like to wish him well on all his future endeavours if he does leave the company. Good times, but Theodore i'm afraid i have some bad news playa, you are going one on one with Team Johnny, and you're going to job and like it. Holla.

He'll retire and in a surprise swerve be replaced by Maryse, who's shtick will be making wrong matches because no one can understand what she's saying.

And being hot.

Smackdown's ratings will more than double.
