Re: The Shield beatdowns

Smackdown was good overall , way better than last raw. The shield beatdowns were just epic. The spot with Fandango was sick and the attack on madox was funny as fuck especially when Ambrose jumped over the couch to beat up Madox again.

I was one of the people in the spoiler thread worried, I saw a lot of superman punches and spears and knowing wwe and how they treated Seth and Dean after SS I was worried. I'm glad it wasn't all Reigns, they all had their moments.

Just have an issue with someone being called a Reigns hater when they simply criticize a guy who obviously has some flaws unlike the other 2. I've been called an Indy mark when I have never even seen an indies match and yeah the booking after SS was awful but it all changed around Elimination Chamber when Seth was getting a chance to shine as well as Dean. Anyone who thinks it's still all Reigns is probably a hater.
I know Soups, you and I were in that Shield thread at about the same time when his booking really was atrocious and harming The Shield overall. Those were fun times to btw .

Interestingly, I saw a lot of comments about Reigns, but I didn't see yours. Plus c'mon, I wasn't expecting to be taken so seriously anyways ... It was mostly me trying to be tongue and cheek. But I guess at my age, it's hard to do lol.

I got a few hours before smackdown here but I'm hearing that it was a *superman punch* and *spear fest* is this true?

Re: The Shield beatdowns

It's like the only reason I watch wrestling these days is just to see what The Shield does, and it's been like that for so damn long. These 3 better be Vince's highest paid guys, even though I know they're nowhere near the top. I guarantee Batista makes as much as all 3 of The Shield combined, when Batista has no effect on the fans, in contrast to The Shield, who the crowd explodes for every damn time. Open your fucking eyes Vince. You're got 3 diamonds in The Shield.

Did anyone pay attention to the crowd on Smackdown? The crowd didn't give a fuck about the show one bit, except when The Shield was on.

Re: The Shield beatdowns

That was awesome.

So they got back at most of the 11 opponents except Barrett (who got away) and Rusev (Sandow took his spot in this case). Heh, I wonder if those 2 will be followed up on Raw or are they safe due to their current push?

I guess it's neat for Shield marks. I don't mind it, tbh, it's the same stuff they've always been doing just against heels now.

Feel bad for how horribly the midcard is being buried and destroyed, but it's apathy at this point.

My comment wasn't so negative lol http://www.wrestlingforum.com/33291425-post134.html just hoped for more than spears and superman punches.

Those days were truly hell, I started thinking that Reigns marks were becoming worse than Punk or Bryan marks. Was almost a crime to think Seth and Dean should be getting more of a chance to shine rather than Reigns make them look so inferior lol.

Don't think it's a burial at all. They had the numbers advantage over everyone except in the end where it was a normal tag match that had 2 people walking out. The 11 on 3 they had on Raw a few months ago was more of a burial than this tbh.

And yeah 3MB has 3 people but they're jobbers lol.

For someone like Fandango who has been irrelevant forever and someone like Swagger who lost against his former partner on the B show, being attacked by the Shield just buries them even further, imho.

Re: The Shield beatdowns

Just watched Smackdown. Yeah didn't really feel like a burial. That 3MB ambush was funny as fuck Poor Swagger had just gotten beaten by Cesaro and didn't really have a chance to defend himself. Barrett and ADR bailed.

Funniest part was Curtis Axel. They didn't even show him get beaten up Cole just mentioned that Axel's been found "decimated" in the locker room, no video or anything

Re: The Shield beatdowns

Loved every minute of it. I'm glad I have the ability to just sit back and be entertained watching a group of black-clad badasses beat people down instead of being like 'OH NO WHY ARE THEY BURYING PPL, THE BOOKING IS TERRIBLE FOR THE MIDCARD, I AM MORE CONCERNED ABOUT KEEPING CERTAIN WRESTLERS LOOKING STRONG INSTEAD OF ENJOYING TV' like most of you guys.

Everything the Shield does is so damn entertaining. I think Ambrose needs a thing, either a taunt, a signature move or something, that gets a pop from the audience like the other two get. He does do the dual suicide dive with Rollins but he needs something on his own I think.

"The people on the internet... The ones that call themselves the experts and have all the cures for the ailments of our business - I think they're a big joke... you listen to them and they've got all the answers and 'This guy needs to be pushed' and 'This guy needs to go', 'Undertaker needs to retire' - you know what, I kinda think it's funny. They forgot that they're fans." - Mark Calloway AKA The Undertaker
