Going to my first ever taping in June!

On June 17th, I will be at the Smackdown/Main Event taping in Columbus, Ohio. This will be the first televised WWE event I have ever been to. I've been to several WWE live events for years. I've even been to an ROH taping and even an Impact Wrestling taping in Orlando a few years back.

I am kind of nervous to see the show. I know the live experience is often times much better than seeing it on television, but Smackdown is definitely not what it used to be. I'm concerned that the show will severely be lacking star power and may not be as good as I'm hoping. But I do hope I'm wrong with that assumption.

Have you guys been to any recent Smackdown tapings? If so, what did you think? Was it lacking star power? Was it disappointing? Did you regret going? Or did you love it and have a really good time?

Re: Going to my first ever taping in June!

I plan on going to the July 22 one at Amway in Orlando, may even go to Battleground which is the Sunday before in Tampa. I went to Raw this past October and had a blast ... except for Sandow losing his MitB cash in attempt to Cena.

Anyways, to me it's all about mindset. If you want to go have a good time, you'll have one no problem. Leave the cynical perspective behind & be as vocal & involved with the event as much as possible, and there's no doubt you'll have a blast. Whenever I go to shows, whether it's WWE, TNA or any other promotion - I always have a blast. Even if the show comes across terrible on TV, live action is great to be a part of & if you're a fan, you should have fun.

Smackdown usually gets a quality dark match after the show featuring top notch guys & they tape Main Event too so you'll more then likely have a great time.

Don't bother making any sort of noise. They'll just dub over it anyway.
