Was there a reason to why the delay for the UK? Never looked into it but just wondered.

Not overly sure, but when I spoke to a rep on the live chat they told me that the UK was at the top of the priority list (understandable as they have stated before that outside the US they make the most money here), however I'm not overly sure how accurate it was cause that rep also said some other things that were just wrong (such as PPV's being on a delay on the network which they're not), so I really couldn't say.

It is a bit baffling because all they need to do is roll out the app and open the website up for UK subscriptions, Sky TV or anything like that I'm not sure are anything to do with it because they have the rights to show Raw and Smackdown (which they'll still be doing) and the PPV situation WWE seem to have control over, the same way they have in the US, so it's a bit of a mystery, it would be nice if WWE would give us an update statement or something but I don't see that happening for a while.

It's actually going to be very beneficial to UK subscribers more so than the US for the simple fact that Raw and PPV's are live at silly hours on Sunday and Monday nights (1am - 4am), which people can't really watch, the only downer that I think is going to deter subscribers away is the fact that Raw doesn't go onto the network until 30 days after it's aired on TV, where as initially people were under the impression that it would go on the next day, I don't think many people are going to wait 30 days to watch the latest episode of Raw, they'll continue to do it the easier way the following day if you know what I mean.

I personally can't wait for the network, they did say that by the end of 2014/early 2015 it'll be completed in all those countries they mentioned on the launch, which my guess is they'll roll it out slowly but surely over time to different countries and the completion of them all will be by that time, so hopefully the UK will get it earlier than expected, it would be nice to have it for Summerslam but I don't hold my breath in regards to that, I think it'll probably be towards the end of the year to be honest.

The sooner they get it out here though the better, there is a huge amount of demand in the UK so they're going to be rolling in it.

Come on Vince ... it's time ... give Rick Martel his way overdue Hall Of Fame induction.

Re: Official WWE Network Discussion Thread

It's things like this what guts me, look what's on tonight?

And the fact they're basically plugging it all over (obviously) is just a slap in the face to those who can't get it, but patience is a virtue as they say, I also want to watch this Legends House also.

I think the US is the beta test to work all the kinks out before releasing it to the rest of the world officially.
