How should Forum Championship be run now that WWE has had a brand split?

Hey Everybody,

As everyone by now knows, WWE has split Raw/Smackdown into its own unique brands/rosters. And with that, they are planning on having show specific PPV/Specials that will only contain members of the respective rosters.

So how does that affect us?

Oracle and I have discussed this some, and feel like there might be those that aren't interested in trying to keep up with each, or some may even just not want to participate in nearly twice as many big events that could take place on WWE Television.

We have come up with three different options that we would like people to discuss and vote for.

A. Keep everything as is - This would most likely mean that the number of PPV/Specials that we score will go from around 12 to around 20 a year. Everyone would play every PPV/Special.

B. Score all events, but combine scores for events during a given month to give a "grand total" score for the month. This would keep FC scoring to 12 events, but everyone would participate in all WWE PPV/Specials(again guessing around 20). Everyone would play every PPV/Special.

C. Split the games/scoring to coincide with each of Raw/Smackdown. - essentially our own brand split
- Scoring would be separate for each show, and each with their own set of titles. If there is any floating titles, those champions would have to play in both brands
- Current scoring would go to the Raw side. Anyone playing the smackdown side will start with a score of 0.
- People can play on either brand, or on both(with maybe the exceptions of floating champions).

Obviously, WO and I will have more work on our hands regardless of what is decided. And the last option(c) would probably need more details hammered out before we go that route, should the majority want to do that.

Now that I've gotten the FC Official Sweenz post out of the way :)p) now for my "Sweenz as a participant" post.

I don't like the 2nd option at all. If we are going to score the events, I'd rather them count separately than having a monthly "running total". I think part of the excitement of a matchup is lost if it is split up across multiple events/weeks. So only considering option 1 and 3 with my vote.

I plan on watching/keeping up with both brands, so I plan on playing every PPV. And because of that, I like the idea of just keeping everything as is and playing every PPV/Special.

- scoring would be dynamic enough that a good/bad score isn't with a player for 6 months.

- I think if we brand split, the number of titles would become ridiculous. I know that these belts will mainly be defended on that show's specific PPVs, but thinking of the big PPVs where they would all be on the line.

- The idea of the brand split here is so that one could not feel like they didn't have to keep up with both shows, but there are still the big 4/5 events which would include both brands in which you have to of kept up with both shows anyway.

- I think things could become complicated if there are floating titles and people being on two shows, with them being the top contender for their own belt. And no floating titles would most likely mean even more title belts.

- Avoids a situation later should WWE kill the brand split(again) and we are left with two brands and having to find a way to dissolve one and its members/titles.

That's a resounding win for "keep it as is".

Ok, we'll keep the train rolling as we have been, just with alot more stops now.. We can revisit this discussion if enough people want it brought back up later.

Thanks to everyone that participated. Both in the game and in this vote.
