Re: Your First WWE Game

First wrestling game I remember playing was WWF Warzone on the N64 (rented from Blockbuster). First game I owned was WCW/NWO Revenge.

Re: Your First WWE Game

My first wrestling game (or just WWE game, whatever) would have been WWF WrestleMania: The Arcade Game for the PS1. Or In Your House. Whichever came first (guessing WM: TAG since it was on the previous gen consoles too). Fun games for what they were.

Re: Your First WWE Game

First played this in 2007. I thought it was the best wrestling game ever made then (even though it was the only one I had at the time ), and to this day my opinion has yet to change.

Re: Your First WWE Game

WWF Warzone.

However, the oldest wrestling game I still have, would be Shut Your Mouth. IMO, SYM is the greatest wrestling game of all time.

WWF Warzone it was the game that got me back into wrestling. Hated how you either had to buy the guide or look online for the finishers in the game though

Re: Your First WWE Game

Three in a row. Mines too is War Zone, for N64. Remember very little about it, however. I do recall laughing about how feminine Goldust's sound effect for throwing a punch was, and throwing TVs at people around the ring.

I wasn't a fan of wrestling at the time though, and only being 5/6, understood little of the concepts of how a wrestling match worked other than beating on your opponent.

Didn't buy another wrestling game until about eight years later when I was fully into WWE with SvR09, which came with my PS3 when I first got it for Christmas.
