Which means if we buy these games we will have to suffer with his and Williams bullshit for years to come.

I'm not going to expect much from WWE 14 honestly. WWE 14 is just going to be game to fix whatever bugs/glitches that he had in WWE 13. Some improvements here and there like in Universe Mode, but Universe Mode was such a letdown last year because they focus too much on the AE mode.
If Universe mode is going to be like a season mode, then they need to sort of treat it like one and hopefully visual concept add some flare into Universe mode. They did some good things with the statistical part which was a plus, but the real problem was the storyline and cutscenes. I think they need to comebine CAS into Universe mode because it's practically the same thing. They need to give the user 100% control for their universe mode and not have the A.I dictate what feuds will happen or what storylines will occur.
For all we know though, only reason THQ guys never did great was cause they never had the money to really make good games. THQ was almost bankrupt for years, so I doubt they'd really have much resources or anything to make good games. With 2K, they have some of the best sports technology available to them.
I'm not getting the game unless it's real good AND there's a noticeable price drop(if game releases for PS4 also, I'd expect PS3s price to be like $40-$50 on release day)
