but being a bad company didnt exactly help them either. A big factor in them being so bad was their mishandling of the launch of Star Wars: The Old Republic. A game that, by the developers' (BioWare) own admission, was not ready...EA games insisted that they push the release date up to Christmas so they could get DEM BUYS. 6 months into the game, they announced that the game would go F2P by september. It's now floundering to stay relevant.
But yes, you ARE correct in saying that a large part of EA being the winner of that tournament is because of Reddit and 4chan's work. Which is why I love the internet just that much more.
