Such a shame about the TNA game because graphically and basic control-wise it was so much better than the WWE games at the time. Too bad it was a glorified demo. (I did play the hell out of it though)

It was already said that WWE 14 would be the last game associated with THQ which means Yukes isn't touching the next, jesus people.

If they get 2k to develop it then it will most likely be one of the greatest wrestling games ever, 2k5 is still one of the greatest football games ever created.

Maybe down the road, no game was great from the first year, NFL 2K had a couple mediocre games before they became good. Same with NBA 2K, and even today they release the game with zillion bugs, even though the game is Sports GOTY (or in close contention).

I remember those robot sized players in the 1st NFL 2K and NBA 2K was ok, but once they worked out all the kinks those games were great to play. I think the reason they have so many bugs now is they try to add way too much and they don't focus on correcting the little things before moving on to the next feature. I see Take Two passing off the franchise to the 2K developers since Rockstar wouldn't make much sense from a wrestling standpoint.

It's about time that someone else was making them. The WWE games have just been bad for so long, I haven't bought one since RvS2006 - which I thought was pretty good. But since then they haven't had the gameplay, or the story modes, that I loved about past Wrestling games. Plus 2K are known for making brilliant sports games so this has me excited again for a wrestling game to see what they can do with the license.

Or they could just give it back to AKI...

Who's even gonna buy it? I'd be real surprised if alot of people did. The ones who do are ones who are real addicted to anything WWE, or just have so much money to spend,that spending $70 on a game they won't play much,isn't important.

Same thing I never got about TV shows either. A network announced a show was being cancelled(in its FIRST season) yet they still had to air out a couple episodes, and people still watched the show, knowing that the show is cancelled and that the end of the episode airings won't conclude anything.

OR perhaps people will be generally interested in the final WWE game made by THQ?
